We were pretty scrappy in the 2nd half, just tried to push too many passes. We should have put them away much earlier. Dugan was excellent, Widdop excellent, McInness, JDB and Sele were good. Mann struggled in the centres his positional play was poor and I thought Mccrone was poor too. All in all deserved the win, but will take the 2 points.

The team was just off in this game, very scrappy but I will take the 2 points

You know what it's 2 points and that's the most important thing.

Not every game will be 'pretty' to watch and sometimes it's about winning the sloppy games. We also had half our spine playing together for the first time in a month. Does make a difference

Sorry gents but Mann is not a centre.

This is what I thought. He looks timid on the edges when we was squeezed for room and wasn't sure whether to pass or run. He is better in the middle or on the wing.

Still a lot of work to do , especially if we wish to be there come semi-final time .
Get back to training, put the hard yards back into your work and reform your combinations . Both Widdop and the Duges played well considering their recent injuries , but others were most disappointing . The only good thing today were the 2 competition points .
