Gutherson wow, what else is there to say, again unbelievable he just does so many little things right and is a real winner, I think we could be looking at our future captain.

Brown was unreal tonight, carting it up set after set and really lead in defence, he was immense, he is only gonna get better and better. What a buy his been for us, he was a real forward leader out there tonight.

Moses wasn't that bad I don't think, his kicking game was good and that one pass he threw into touch I feel as though the winger over ran it, but that will come with time. He made some solid tackles and stuck, I really can't wait to see him and Norman together.

We have a favourable run home and are sitting on 14 points which isn't too bad, I just have zero confidence in our defense, it was a gusty win no doubt considering the injury toll, but that Mannering try in the first half and the Hoffman try in the second were piss weak, even the Maumaolo one was off a very tacky set play from them and he still had time to get it down. The way we defend coming up and in on our line isn't working for mine, I just have zero confidence in us defending a lead. I feel we could make a dent in this comp but that wont be happening unless we fix up our defense, we get caught out wide still to often and way way to many soft tries are conceded, we are winning the tight ones and learning how to grind but we are a fair way off defensively.

Also they were winning the ruck too easily at times tonight, super quick play the balls albeit they were marching off the mark but they were carving us up the middle and it was too too easy, which allowed them back into the game.

Great gutsy win, but the injury toll looks to have worsened after tonight, far from perfect but we're winning so I'll take it.

you were probably having sex with it

Sorry mate, I've got a female human companion for that.

I understand that for some of the more disgusting elements of society such as yourself the closest you get to that is making a post on a footy forum pondering whether or not the chick on the Toyota ads does anal

I know his replacement (Gower) injured himself, but imagine if we'd had to rely on Vavae to punch out big minutes tonight because of other injuries. Do you think he could get through 40mins in a game? 30?

Well our underrated defensive prop Mannah was out, along with our scapegoat Pritchard, so what did you expect from our ruck defence ? Additionally losing 3 bench players didn't help!!

Guth is the kid in your team that you'd think would never make it but has the heart of a lion and plays like a kid having fun. We need more Guths in the NRL. My favourite player. Hope he gets a huge payrise.
He's not especially fast or skillful but he is footy smart and very strong. Plus his workrate is massive. He is everywhere.

Cant disagree Poo. Id love the stat on how many Warrior play the balls occured with at least one Parra defender still on the ground. Fatigue I guess but it seemed to happen even early in tge game.

Gutherson is a great player. Funny to think he was our small signing from manly. Along with Gower they turned out the best.

We've lost the play the ball for over a decade bud...it didn't happen because we had players out tonight. We should be thankful we were playing the biggest muppet football team in the NRL.

Sterlo had some pretty frank assessments and opinions on Moses after the match on channel 9... Can't disagree with any of it. On form, with a full strength team, I think we're better off with Guth at 6, Norman at 7 and Moses anywhere else. When asked who controlled things down the stretch, Beautiful Scott said "Guth, just like every week"... I'll give Moses a few more weeks but damn, hard to move people to include Moses when everyone is fit unless he improves greatly which he is getting paid to do...
How about when Moses is fit? He could barely run last week.

Moses defense is the only thing that concerns me. But he has Auvua alongside and for first try and Matagi on inside. Moses needs time in gym and he be fine.
Against souths Gutherson was quite average. Moses was brilliant. People see, to forget fast.
Its not his size that is the problem. It's his smarts. He is all at sea when trying to function in a defensive line. He doesn't just need good tacklers around him, he needs smart defenders. to guide him where to be etc.

Teaching that sort of thing will happen but it takes time.

And no one on the Tigers coaching staff since 2012 has had any idea how a defensive line is supposed to work, so he sure as f**k had no chance of learning anything about it there.
