I believe it's the latter but I grew up with Police Academy 1-6 so I'll always pronounce it the way this guy did:

The one he did score, I wonder if he would have without Feldt flinging him into the in-goal.

I still cant believe how close he went to being flung into the goal post. It was a miracle he missed it.
