Being the same age as Kilkenny I can see where he is coming from. In our day calling somebody irrelevant would be seen as an insult. I don't think that that is what westy meant by it though. I think we have more of a misunderstanding than reasons for WW3. :)

Dylan at the moment is the first choice fullback. Caleb is a very adequate backup to Dylan

But to say Caleb isn't of first grade standard.........I kinda shocked at that.

I think it depends on what people mean by first grade standard.

If they mean he shouldn’t ever play FG, that’s not fair.

but if they mean he isn’t good enough to be a regular first grader, I think that’s fair. He just doesn’t have the necessary skills that a regular fullback should have. He’s quite an old school type of fullback.

I don't agree. Yep he may not have the speed that Dylan does. But that doesn't make him not of first grade standard.

He's been great for the team, Very good in defence, and does what the coaches need him to do.

I think that comment is quite harsh..........

The Average FG career is 37 games.

I don't think he gets to that average so hence I don't see as a FG standard. Or Below average if that wording is better

I really like Caleb Aiken’s, I think he’s a valuable member of our squad that never lets us down.

I really don’t see why he draws so much heat on here.

Can’t we just be comfortable not criticising anyone?

Can't we just not rate a player without it being made into an issue?

I'm confused to what you actually mean Franklin......

Do you mean that Caleb shouldn't be playing first grade ever

Or do you mean that he is a competent backup for first grade fullback.....when injuries occur.

To be fair this was mostly me not criticizing Aekins but starting an issue anyway by people talking past each other.

I will happily admit I was wrong If he is playing regular FG somewhere next year but I don't see it.

Not every single person at the club can be FG standard that is just reality

Anyone know what the injury update says? Can't watch till I get home since internet is there.

Dyl has trained well this week and is available. To'o will be back round 15, capewell round 16 and the Ferrari has started rehab running and is marked for a couple weeks though he said they will have more info on him in the next injury update. Whare is still in boot.

Thanks mate. Wonder how that will effect Laurie tonight. Maybe give Dyl a break at some point.

Any word on Dyl? Sounds like he’s good to go, or do we rest him another week?

From what I’ve been told, he’s just as likely to hurt it at training, so I guess we may as well play him?

Sounds like he's back tonight.

I live up here in the Hunter about 1 hour away from the groun. It's slippery underfoot, (which bring Warriors back into the game)

The game is not a gimmee either 2% off and it's a loss.

Panthers need to muscle up, lay the platform, work hard for each other. Alsi I agree no injuries please.......
