The goal is to keep the core players together so we don't break up combinations and upset the way the team is playing at the moment.
If someone like Mansour needs a week off (like earlier in the year) to manage an injury before it gets worse, they will do it. They won't rotate for the sake of giving someone a rest.

It’s the best approach.

I know I speak for some others and am disappointed again that Matt Burton is not in the 17. I think that he will play FG for 10 years I hope its with the Panthers!!

Honestly as someone who wants him in the 17 I'm more happy to see Edwards be closer to a start. Burton has time to find his place. We really need BIG Dyl back.

He’s obviously close. No need to bring him back this week, Caleb will continue to be solid.

Really hope we can get the job done against the Warriors.

Our forward pack and bench should have them covered no room for complacency.

One more win in our quest to secure a spot in the top 4.

Hopefully Roosters beat the Storm tonight. Don’t normally barrack for the Roosters but hope they win tonight.

Hopefully, however unlikely I hope the Dragons send Mary out a winner and beat the Eels tomorrow night.

It's interesting. Roosters win we can put a gap on Storm.

Storm win it separates the top 4 a bit with top 2 potentially moving ahead. Both are positive in their own way.

Need to be very careful in the management of hamstring injuries.

I don’t see the need to risk him given Caleb will get the job done. Caleb is no Tedesco but does a far better job than he is given credit for.

Aekins is irrelevant. You don't hold Edwards back if he's ready.

Caleb is very relevant. I’m not sure how you come to that view. He has played a very important role in 2020 Err on the side of caution, give Dylan another week. Caleb will continue to do his job which he has done very well.

He's irrelevant because he's the back up regardless of how well he's played. Either Edwards is ready or he isn't. That's up to the docs to work out. You need your spine getting time so taking it off Edwards for the reserve grader if there's no risk is silly.

Suggesting he is irrelevant is hugely disrespectful the kid deserves better.

Are all our back up players irrelevant or just Caleb.

What about Matt Burton he is the back up to Jerome & Nathan is he irrelevant?

I’m a huge Dylan Edwards fan I just don’t see the need to rush him back.

So explain how he factors into Edwards hamstring injury? If Edwards is fit you play him not the back up because he did an ok job while filling in.

Hamstrings are problematic, just ask Matt Moylan, Tommy Turbo.

There is no need to rush him back, the more rest and recovery the better chance when he does return he may not suffer a re-occurrence of the issue.

My issue is not so much whether Dylan returns, just the general disrespect shown to Caleb. He has done everything asked of him as a back up and some of the hate on here is just astonishing. When I got home from our great win against the Raiders all the conversation around the game seemed to centre upon Calebs deficiencies or inadequacy. Couldn’t believe it. Had a couple of days forum free to which is sad after such a great win.

Let’s not re-write history here, it’s not so long ago many on here had written off Dylan Edwards because apparently he wasn’t a ball playing fullback. I was one of the few who went into bat for him time and time again.

Dylan is our number 1 fullback no issues there, I just don’t see the need to bring him back this week in a game we should win comfortably with or without him.

I'm not insulting him I'm saying what happens with Edwards determines Aekins game time not the other way around.

We are playing for a top 4 spot and premiership so you're going to get conversation about players who have or are perceived to have deficiencies.
