How many other clubs have a better backup halfback in reserve grade?
The Broncos have Ma'am, the Cows have Ben Hampton, Canberra have Frawley, the Dragons have Sullivan, Roosters have Lachie Lam or Drew Huchinson even the Tigers have Madden. And that list was composed all off the top of my head in mins. All of those guys have shown more than Super Back up Jakey,.

I would say we have a fair bit more $$$s committed to our two first choice halves (now and planned for the near future) than most of those teams with a decent backup .... how much cash can you commit to those 2 positions? .... not saying im a fan of jake, but he would be on pitance and it probably enables us to throw more at moses and drown

And when JA becomes a superstar, we can still pay him a pittance, and just up his dad's salary.

Than Ma'am?? Really???? Or Madden??? They have actually shown something in first grade. Unlike Jakey who's season highlight was getting appendicitis while sitting on a bench.
Well he’s only played two and a half games this year and one was a game where our forwards didn’t turn up. Hardly a reliable sample. Last year he scored a couple of solo tries and forced some line dropouts. But the thing he’s shown more than any of those others is effective defence. That’s a far better indicator of NRL potential than some mad merkin with a step but who can’t tackle.

Mam's tackle efficiency is slightly higher than Arthur's at 87.3% to 86.7%. And their biographies are night and day.

Mam has played two f**king games, against two of the worst teams in the comp. How would his tackle efficiency look if he'd played against the Cowboys? He missed five tackles against the Titans ffs.

TCT on there match report for NSW cup said Jake was the 2nd best player last week and was the conductor of the attack. 🤔
They are huge Jake fans no denying that. I wasnt there so I can't comment. Jakes last NSW Cup game that I saw was the best Ive seen from him apart from one massive error that led to opposition points. Hes learning and having Rankin at 1 and mostly out of his way will prove his worth. Id like to see him do more however. He leaves heaps to young Gaznier who dosent lose much by comparison. That said Id love to see Perham at 6. Sam L is on the bench this week. They should find a spot for him.
