Was there blow up about Warriors getting their dummy half dive over try? it wasn't mentioned by commentators, but Blair grabbed Edwards' shoulder, which is what he was blowing up about, so rightly not to award it.

Replays didn't even show his shoulders really. The warriors dummy half veered left in behind his team mates legs so Edwards couldn't get his body in front of him.

I usually steer away from criticising the refs but the Luai sin bin followed by the dodgy try is the most incompetent refereeing I think I've seen. For Sutton to then state that RTS kicked it (when it was a blatant knock on), hence the professional foul just exemplified that he should not be out there.
Yeah, Sutton is a jerk - disrespectful to BBQ when he was trying to talk with him & was almost smiling every time he binned or penalised us.

Great, gutsy win and I have bucketed the team for their earlier games but they deserve high praise this time. A couple of points:
  • Is Luai carrying an injury? He seemed to be made of glass and refused to take a tackle. He had a very poor game and didn't use his footwork and speed when the Warriors were tiring. I know it is only early in his career, but I am concerned he is not as good as we think he is. Is he answer when Maloney leaves?
  • Once again Yeo got burned at centre. Hiku got on his outside enough to be able to get the ball down. When is Cleary going to start picking the right players in the right positions? Just ridiculous with Whare on the bench.
  • RCG, 44 minutes, 86m 31 tackles at 83%. What is going on with him? Another distinctly average game.
  • The score flatters the Warriors. 11 Penalties, 2 men in the bin, a try awarded that was clearly not a try. Even with all that they couldn't beat us.
  • Credit to Cleary, he has got team spirit where it should be after a decidedly poor start to the year and a team looking like it didn't want to be there.

I note that the club is openly criticising the N RL/Refs.

"At one stage, the Panthers were reduced to eleven players after a trio of refereeing blunders saw Jarome Luai join Liam Martin in the sin bin."

"Jarome Luai was inexplicably sin binned in the 43rd minute for “late contact” on Roger Tuivasa-Sheck after the Warriors fullback had knocked on, with referee Gerard Sutton ruling he had kicked the ball.

With the Panthers down to eleven men, the Warriors scored through David Fusitu’a. However, the Bunker missed that the winger’s hand scraped the sideline, and he should not have been awarded a try.

Regardless, it handed the Warriors a healthy ten-point lead."

Not sure that’s the club, a lot of the digital content is run by nrl.com’s media unit.

Yes. I'm not the type to go off about our players when they leave. Everyone forget his try Vs Eels last year that destroyed their entire season?
Not going off about Waqa mate. I wish him well, but such efforts were becoming few and far between.
