Correct me if I'm wrong... v The Storm - I can't see how this can't see anything but a flogging
v the Cowboys the enthusiasm was less ordinary - Shows us how inept they're traveling.
We won't have any of our pseudo stars. I'm feeling sick about this already.
Our worse we -70 (give or take) I believe that margin will be tested.

And while we're down - the thing that pains me the most...
Mary will pull some mind numbing B.S out of his ar&e and will live on for the remainder of his contract.
This is going to hurt.

... And I'm a glass half full dude
Should drink more mate

I understand that people get tired of the pessimism but anyone who thinks we are even a slim chance simply hasn't been watching the competition this year.

We are a shadow of a real NRL team and aren't going to win against a well drilled and professionally coached team. This is proven week after week. Let's get real. Why be surprised so many are so dejected. We've been fed rubbish for years.

I will approach this game without any great expectations as to us winning. But McIdiot needs to field at half back, I think the bench should have 4 forwards, give a couple of the CC players a taste.

The team is an example of the coach.

Be interesting ...
Nsw. Vaughan Frizell sims
Qld hunt and whispers of norman at five eight and k.sims on the bench
Plus injuries to Lafai lomax Widdop
And jdb stood down
Now our depth will really be challenged....

Anyone else think it strange that we could potentially have 6 Origin players selected (is that the most from any team?) and yet we’re so far from being premiership contenders ?

The players are doing what they can and we have a very good team. Those 6 players to play origin and the the rest of the group with a top coach would be interesting.
Coach and coaching staff are the problem no game plans in place can’t even when line breaks are made backup and pass the ball, picks players that not are not even grade standard, until this imposter is removed with rest including management nothing will change.

Do hear anything that comes from the Club management no nothing silence is golden. The management stinks!!!!!!!!!

The club will see this as a positive of L plates coaching, telling it’s supporters that players play origin under his coaching :weary::thinking::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The gap between our best and worst players in enormous. We have a handful of the very best players in the NRL and a handful of the very worst.
I really cannot understand SGI wanting to persist with the likes of Lafai, Aitken, Pereria, Field, Latimore.
Blind Freddy can see these guys are B graders!

We can add in 2 English internationals (Widdop and Graham). And imagine if JBD wasn't suspended. Hence I had high hopes for the season, the roster on paper was one of the best in the comp.

Even the weaker guys you speak of (Lafai, Aitken etc), and our juniors coming through (Dufty, Field, Host, Luc, Lawrie; Lomax) under a good coaching staff should be able to back up our rep players. Even Rava and Perason are showing potential now.

It really just takes a bit of brains to put it all together. But the 3 stooges in the coaching box have no clue how to do it.

Ben Hunt, Corey Norman, Paul Vaughan, Tyson Frizell, Tariq Sims on Origin duty.

James Graham, Gareth Widdop and Zac Lomax injured.

Yeah it's gonna be ugly. Last year I thought despite the Origin exodus the young guys performed admirably. If anyone remembers, it really only blew open in the last 15 minutes, I think we were even leading before then

But this year I don't see us being so lucky with injury and Origin duty being even more taxing on us.

A full strength Dragons vs Storm game should have been a season highlight. Why must the NRL continue to schedule these two heavily Origin affected teams during Origin week?
