A serious question, what do we do with Mannah. When he was on the field, we lost control of the ruck all game, when Matangi came on , at least we had some sense of control in the last 10 minutes

Alvaro and Gower played all over him, as a captain he is filling up a space and that is all.

Vave needs to come into the 17 in his place, it's not a nice thing to consider, but as someone said to me tonight, Timmy has basically fallen off the cliff .

The game was worth 4 points with a certain person refereeing, what an absolute joke. Thought his display would not be as awful after leaving the game as we won and coming home, but it stings that no one in officialdom can see how poor he is and looks at one side. Don't think we received a penalty in the second half

Kasiano doesn't play the ball properly, waves his arms around and gets gifted penalties, Semi gets assaulted in tackles and waved play on, Moses gets decked after kicks , nothing. So obvious it's not funny, 5 in a row to get the Dogs first try, no shepherd called, such an awful display

Rant over , freezing cold in the stands and have to endure Perenara, double torture

NRL stats indicating French had 9 runs for 104m, plus he scored one of the best solo wingers tries of the season and diffused every kick that came his way.

@Poupou Escobar is he still a reserve grade standard winger? For someone that likes a decent sample size, you sure jumped on his lack of metres last week.
His line defence and go forward are below NRL standard. That hasn't changed, either last week or this week.

Why do you think one game would change anything? As for his one run for eleven metres last week, I mentioned it because merkins who only watch the highlights were giving him man of the match.

Matagi was huge the last 10 mins, i think he needs to start with Alvaro. Timmy is an absolute passenger these days, he's trying hard but not offering much at all. We seriously need to recruit some muscle up front next season to lay a platform for Moses and Norman. Because they can win us plenty of games.

Evans and Meehan come to mind.

So a bench player and a bloke who has played one first grade game 3 years ago. They are a start but we seriously need more than what they will provide us if we ever want to be a threat in this comp.

Mannah seriously is done, the coach has to seriously look at giving him the tap at the end the season he looks like a shuffling corpse out there.

I wouldn't get hung up on Evans being a bench player - Klemmer played off the bench for 53 of his first 58 games before getting a permanent starting spot in round 10 last year. Paul Vaughan has played 57 of his 100 games from the bench. I would have either of those guys in a heartbeat at Parra.

He's also behind some pretty handy props in JWH and Napa.....it's not like he's a benchy behind Tim Grant and Dave Tyrrell....

Surely there a props out there that we can sign that don't run backward like Mannah and Alavaro.

Mannah is a worry, the dude has dropped off a cliff, but Alvaro is our best defensive prop quite easily and can make metres. He's not the problem.

Alavaro didn't cover / slide fo that Frawley try he went to sleep.

He's part of the problem as we don't have go forward. Just not big enough or strong enough for that position let alone start the damn game.

Evans will be a good buy, but seriously he can't do it alone.

I've heard we are in talks with Charlie Gubb, seriously he's another undersized plodder with the leg drive of Stephen Hawking.

Well like I said earlier today, if Gubb is replacing Windscreens he's an upgrade....don't get me wrong, I don't rate him all that highly, but we do need basic back ups given ours are all off contract. We don't know what we're offering. Certainly he won't be a top 17 prop, unless he takes Mannah's spot.

And honestly the way poor Timmy is going Gubb wouldn't be a downgrade there

Nathan Brown was a bench player too. Coming off the bench doesn't mean a bloke is worse than the starters, it usually just means he is less capable of long minutes. Evans is behind some great middle forwards at the Roosters.
