NRL stats indicating French had 9 runs for 104m, plus he scored one of the best solo wingers tries of the season and diffused every kick that came his way.

@Poupou Escobar is he still a reserve grade standard winger? For someone that likes a decent sample size, you sure jumped on his lack of metres last week.

He did run 45 metres on one run though, so 59 for the other 8 runs.

Gutho is probably the best utility back in the game. He'll kill it at centre, he's got all the attributes. Ultimately French is probably a bit small for the wing in the modern game, but he's in our best five backs so however we can fit them both in is good IMO

Long term. He is seriously the kind of player I'd offer a 3-5 year contract to. You know what you'll get every game he turns out for during the length of his contract.

True...but every other winger has their long runs counted so let's compare apples with apples. He was averaging almost 100m last year on the wing so this isn't an anomaly.

Lots of good things by Gower but he was an arm grabber occasionally. Surely there is a medical issue with Mannah. Very poor. Alvaro worked his butt off but again he was left on the ground at the play the ball far too much. Brown. All bow. This guy is a legend.

He's also become a genuinely good goal kicker. He's only kicking at 77% but as the season has gone on he's got better and better. You back him in from the side line now

I thought King was good in his first game of first grade in over two years, though I still think Kaysa is the better player. It's just a shame that he is eternally injured.

There's no way he was worse than Matt Keating. I'd rather play Corey Pearson at hooker than Keating.
