If anyone checks out the press conference.
I couldn't pick up what Carr said to Hunt before the interview started.

Just watched the press conference what an utter joke especially with such quotes like.

"We competed well tonight"
"We tried really hard the effort was there"
"Matt Feagai did well tonight "

Lol no player or coach is even pretending to care now.
Dave did you pick up what Carr said to Hunt just after he sat down?

People quickly embraced him and came out with the “Flanno has to keep him” philosophy

We are so quick to jump on any horse of which most are headed for the knackery.

Quite correct. You have to earn respect and you do that by enacting lasting change.

If Flanagan can come in and make some tough calls (which are only actually tough when you pee in each other's pockets) then he will see results and he will gain our respect and the respect of the rugby league community. A change will then come in how we are perceived by prospective players.

I get the feeling he will prioritise winning before all else, and can I be very unpopular and say, one thing about Hunt is at least he yearns to be a winner. I don't think many other of our players even understand the concept as long as the money hits the account.I honestly don't.

Carr is a caretaker coach. He’s taken over the exact same players as Hook had. At least his player selections are better. But this lot are all rubbish. He’s shuffling the deck chairs on the titanic

Surely nobody is surprised to see what has happened in the past 2 weeks. You simply cannot have a club cpt requesting an immediate release in the manner that it was done in the public domain and expect that it would not have a detrimental affect on the rest of the playing group. The playing group has lost faith in the cpt and the senior management of the club and are playing accordingly. You cannot expect the team to trot out onto the field after the cpt and expect all is forgiven it would be ludicrous to believe that. The club had to dig its toes in to stop an exodus of players and be seen not to be a pushover for any player demanding to break their contracts but we are all witnessing the fallout of this issue. 100 points in 2 games nothing more needs to be said. There is very little this coach can do about the situation

Did he mention the length of the field at all.

Coach and captain banging on about warriors game being embarrassing and not to standard.

sorry boys but the whole year has been the same. Even the Souths reserves team win was hard to watch.

another flogging tonight as the team has no gumption. As again displayed by picking the wantaway as captain.

Bump. Result as predicted but the coach actually talking as if it was an improvement on last week. Like we are going places.

Something like 43 tries conceded in the last 7 games and still talking positives like the team has been riddled with injuries or something.

At least say it like it is. And for goodness sake, select a captain that actually wants to rock up to games.

I was out this evening and not long got home.....I had recorded the game and thought will it be worth sitting up for...... and knowing pretty much we would get rolled decided check the result......fmd I'm glad I didn't waste my time.....so can't comment on the game but after reading all your posts sounded like another abysmal effort.....how did Hunt go any improvement on his lack of effort against the Warriors.....I think someone said he ran 5m surely they were taking the piss

No runs from Hunt and just doing the basics. He has checked out. He did do some tackles though Ill give him that but he is definitely holding back. Seemed like he deliberately passed past Bud and kept him out of the game also.

Yeah people know my feelings on the interim coach but people were quick to blast me for criticising him.

A lot of people I believe have it's better than our previous one mentality but the bloke who was sacked was also the bloke that brought in our current guy.

The whole team needs a massive clean out from the players to the trainers to the coaching ranks.
