Round 18 v Gummy's

I really though Saints were doing OK in the first half till Feagai genuinely gifts them a try. I don't get it, centres and wingers would have defusing bombs as part of their bread and butter yet Feagai turns his back when the ball is literally on top of him? There was no excuse for that. What was his whole thought process? Clearly he had no idea where the ball was, what to do when it came down, who was around him etc? Was he looking at the crowd before the ball was kicked? What the hell happened? It was just inexcusable. I hate blasting a youngster but that was really poor and after the past few weeks I was expecting a big game from him being a Dragons junior up against our bitter rivals.
Sharks made a laughing stock of the Dragons. Once things go against them they just give up as if to say, we have an excuse now lets just play through the motions. No more blaming Hunt and Hook. I feel as if they are getting a free ride now with all this negative press putting is such poor performances. They clearly have themselves to blame now and nobody else.

If they get the spoon, last thing I would do is have any off season celebrations especially and end of season trip. The money paid for those is from the fans. It's bad enough being paid to dish up this rubbish during the season in front of the fans but to then celebrate using their funds? As for the board. Whoever made the decisions to keep hook beyond 2022 should be shown the door. Clearly they have no care factor for anyone but the ex-coach and his sidekick. If they have KPI's then they clearly did not make it.

I would be whipping the boys even harder in training once the season is over during the finals series, to set an example of what you get when you have a terrible season. No time off at all, just give them the public Holidays off up until Round 1 2024. Make them train every day up until then.
The lack of interest was evident during the warm-up.

Hunt was correct in that we are getting worse, and as the leader he is a key part of the recent demise…players appear to have clocked off for this year. Except JDB and Toby Couchman..
The Hunt saga, the coaching saga, the lack of signings for next year saga. All the little 1%er plays around effort are just not there. We have to remove Hunt and inject some trade in replacements and Flanagan has to push to exit early from Manly.
Otherwise we are unlikely to win again this year and sadly collect our first wooden spoon. Time is now for action and commence the rebuild.

That's what my cousin did (Eels Fan).
When we went to Saints v Eels.
Never wore Eels gear.
If he had any.
He shouldn't have bothered. Saints fans are much more civil. I went to St George Leagues last night to watch the game in the RedV museum. There were three Sharks supporters wearing jerseys, having a drink and a meal while watching the game. The place was quite full, but these guys were left alone.

Imagine if we simply competed for all the opposition’s bombs, didn’t kick out on the full and into oppositions legs and didn’t fail to kick into touch from penalties at key moments; didn’t give the opposition 7-0 six agains……..

Why does this seem to happen EVERY week? fitness, confidence, attitude; ability; poor coaching; shit defensive structures; poor decision making; all of the above?

Whatever, but you have a different game of football on your hands………

My son invited me into the corporate tent/ compound surrounded by sharks supporters everwhere, no place to hide it was a painful night, haven't been there for years, what a shit hole of a ground.

You're braver and better than me mate. Not even a corporate box would have enticed me to watch that dribble we displayed in enemy territory. You know what? I just wish my heart wasn't overriding my head at the moment. It would be so much easier if I didn't care.

I don't know about the rest of the issues, but for sure "shit defensive structures " is the BIG one!

This so called team owes me for sitting in the stand with all the feral sharks supporters till the end last night. It was freezing cold & they were laughing & making jokes at our side, I had no comeback we are a rabble, at an all time low, embarrassing & its actually worse when you see it live. I will go on about it again but if our wingers are selected next week I will refuse to watch multiple tries due to running in to attempt to take the centres & tackle air. Rava did it multiple times & then just walks back into position, they are obviously not told otherwise. There are multiple other comments, this group (excluding JDB whose frustration was evident last night) dont deserve to wear this great jersey ! My rant is over.....

I agree with that particularly when every week my wife asks the same question
Did they loose again

Finucane is facing two weeks off after being charged for a dangerous throw on Blake Lawrie.
The Sharks skipper will miss two games with an early guilty plea or three matches if he unsuccessfully contests the charge at the judiciary.

Can some one please explain to me why this was not a sin bin?

That sod is a repeat offender when it comes to illegal play , he knew full well what he had done was wrong and what does he do - throws his arms in the air ‘ it was an accident ref ‘ another play straight out of the Storm’s dirty bag of tricks .

Old habits die hard . A-hole ! 😡
