A win is a win. Too much hysteria about the DWZ try. Manly's second try was off a blatant forward pass, so it evens out. It was a very tough call to rule out the try in the second half. It looked like it went backwards.
Still hard to see on a scratchy internet connection here in Guangzhou in China!

The pass off DCE was at least a yard forward, yet the death riding Fox commentators (someone plse give Gaz a gardening show) chose to ignore it.Nothing, not even a smidge of an inference of the pass being forward.

To be precise,Manly were their own worst enemy last night. It was their tactics of unsettling the Panthers' rythm in attack that led to their downfall in the penalty count.

And I'm surprised that the refs did not resort to DCE bring ignored, being that every time he held a pow-wow with the refs after just about every penalty, edsecially within 40 yards within their line.It was a ploy for his players to get their defense set and air in their lungs.

But this win for is was full of character as the players responded well to the critisicm delt out during the last week. The players knew they are better than that Souths loss. For me,I'm proud that they responded so well and played their guts out.

Maybe a cooking show? He can be the expert on sauces.

Speaking of which, Mansour does appear to be down on confidence, as I expected. Moylan too, after that pass last week.

it's just tonight they want to throw us off the scent by being nice to us

Maybe it was betting company driven (just kidding, takes off tinfoil hat).

If we are good enough, we can make it 5 straight from here with the Warriors and Titans games the dangers.
WAR (A)
GLD (H)
DOG (H)
TIG (H)
Then it gets a bit tougher but 2/4 is realistic.
COW (H)
CAN (A)
STG (H)
MAN (A)

I get so pissed off when so much is made about last night by commentators but literally any other game is swept under the rug.Irritating beyond belief.

Would rather win playing bad than lose playing well any day.

Manly - didn't want an open game so were always going to lose the penalty count.

Everyone praising Manly's defence... We defended pretty well as well. They had quite a few repeat sets and could only score one try (from a forward pass).

Moylan is struggling to run the team from #6. Gus is right - we are still a work in progress. If we are serious about making the finals this year I would go

1. Moylan
6. Wallace (when available)
7. Cleary
9. Rein

A bit of a step back but a quick fix for our team management.

Moylan can go to 6 next year with a full off season training there.

We have a better win % with Moylan at 6 this year so far.
