After the past few games, this is beginning to shape up as a bounce back game for the Dolphins. The Broncos have just suffered a couple of body blows with Riki & Flegler sidelined and things are about to get worse with Walsh fronting the judiciary.

Meanwhile the spine is back together for the Dolphins and outside of Gilbert this is the best line-up the Dolphins can field. This is as good an opportunity as any to save some face after this awful run of losses.

It's a big blow for them.

It was always going to be long odds that he'd play this game. The incident received far too much press and whenever you involve officials the media is going to take a dim view. As a Broncos fan, I expected this and Origin III would have been suitable punishment, now there's talk he could be missing four games with Origin not counting towards his suspension.

Don't do the crime, don't do the time.

Tom Gilbert was always going to be a massive loss for us. Along with Hammer I reckon he is our best.

With the realignment of feeder clubs this fixture is taking on a Northside v Southside feel.

Acknowledge that Broncos HQ is northside but with the Academy program based in Logan and their feeder team Souths - Logan spending more time down that way.....the north / south divide is happening.

Which is great. Living Northside, the divide is real in the community, and as they say sports mirrors society and it’s beginning to be the case in the NRL.

When I tell people up here I am a Dolphin, they are all like “wtf”, when they are broncos.

There is a good vibe up here. I hope we smash them.
