At least Wes has shown something at some point in career, I have nfi why you guys signed Ciraldo. Absolute plodder when he was at the Knights and has never really showed anything resembling talent.

I can't understand this kicking it on the 3rd straight to their winger!! We have two more tackles with the possibility of a line break and maybe scoring or at worst, kicking it on the fifth when we are 20 meters closer to their try line and then making them work it out. Overall it was a very disappointing effort when a win today would have had us in 5 th place.

wes was not the only player struggling today

moylan has lost complete confidence .He is chimming into the backline and passing 5 meters before the line. While a great prospect he is struggling

james roberts Again super fast and a great prospect .He turns the ball over with droped ball at least twice a game

Ciraldo huge body but offers nothing when hitting the ball up
latimore see ciraldo

But at full strength there would be plenty of options right now there is not a lot Docker looks like being lost for a few weeks .Not sure if any of the injured boys are back next week.Brown is on report and not sure of his record

we are still trying to work out how he got signed .But he is gone next year i think and given how many back rowers we will have cant see him getting offered anything

John started his Penrith career well but the way its going now I can't wait for Coote and Austin to get back

Austin hasn't had much of a shot and likely never will. But Coote has had a similar amount of time at 5/8 as John and not shown as much in the same time.

All round weak team performance, lot of poor work from the players we've come to rely on. Couldn't match them for talent with the team we put out there but didn't match them for enthusiasm either. Kick chase was nowhere, defence was soft up the middle and line speed poor.

One loss guys. It wasn't great but look at the team we fielded compared to Newcastle. They should have horse whipped us. We've juggled having a rotating cast of 10 plus players out most of the year and started with a poor roster anyway. Our season can still go down the toilet but at this stage Penrith has equalled last year's points tally with horrible injuries, salary cap restrictions, three top tier players released. Our juniors are making great progress and that was all this year was ever about.

One loss guys

It's not the loss for me.

It's that we weren't even close to them. During our 'run' we weren't even in games against the only 3 decent teams we played (Roosters, Raiders and today) we were never in those games. Another Tigers we should won so don't let our 'form' decieve.

Granted we had injuries Spine was intact. Still had Seg impact still had speed outwide. We had enough to win if we showed up.

Lets look at somethings we did even with a weakened team:

Roberts got no ball in attack..

We had all the momentum and took to 2 when in front by 2.

No communication to let Gower in.

Brown intercept the 6 again on the line both great chances blown.

Terrible kick chase. Kicking on the 3rd to Uate all day with no chase the worst of the day.

Agree mx but at least will put pressure on to perform. I still think Coote can be something

Can't find an online link but in Big League Soward says he will halfback. That means Coote is still a chance for 6.

I like John he's great in defence has a kicking game but the last month or so has been no existent in attack. Soward can't do all so we need attack in the 6.

Walsh looked pretty pissed off about going for 2 points when you guys were ahead 6 - 4, looked like the call came from the sideline or someone besides Walsh at least. He was shaking his head.

I cant seem to get my head around all these people that try to talk Isacc John up, as having great defence. He has missed 18 tackles in his last 6 appearances. Also for the people calling on Cartwright to play grade, have you actually watched him play for Windsor. I don't doubt that he will be a first grader of the future, but if you had of watched him in yesterdays Windsor game, he really isn't ready yet.

Have to agree there, I was rapt with John's performances when he first started playing for us but hasn't been overly impressive of late. For me it was the same with Tom Humble, first few games were good but then not much else to get excited about. I just hope we can get some players back on deck and turn it around against the sharks.

Coote started strongly at 6 too, all our recent 6s have started strongly and then fallen off a cliff, John is becoming another invisible man. I'm most disappointing in his kicking, he's not an option on the last either for territory or for attacking kicks, leaves us very one dimensional with Walsh doing everything. That said it's hard to be too critical today, we were dominated in the middle from the 20th minute onwards and our back row couldn't punch through a paper bag.

I thought Seg indicated to the ref by pointing to the posts as soon as it happened?
