People it is the first game of the season, no need to make any dramatic changes. Keep the same team, except if Hannant or Hodges are fit. There may be a case to drop the hooker off the bench in favour of another forward, but I'm happy with having hunt on the bench for the time being.

Get Thaiday in the second row, start with Teo. Gillett and Glenn to the bench.

Can't stress Gillett being on the bench enough. He needs to provide impact like he did last year. He was just too tired from tackling, hit ups etc the other night to make any plays

As a Raider supporter I would prefer to see Thaiday in the middle mixing it up with the props then outwide where we can be vulnerable.

Thaidy is not a prop we need him in second row and hunt should start at hooker he gives us more. No hodges again no surprise.

As much as i like wallace (not as a player) i think its time to have hunt at halfback and mccullough play the full 80.

i fear the massive raiders pack is gonna steamroll us....

if they're in the mood they were on sunday it's gonna be a flogging. if our forwards can hold them and we can remember how to structure our attack we may be able to get them. i'm hoping their last win will go to their ehads and they'll be complacent

IMO, Anderson was the best Prop on the park on Friday. He needs to stay. We need size against the Raiders.

I'd rather drop McGuire if we have to drop a forward.

Anderson was ordinary. He has no footwork and doesn't penetrate the line. Same team this week anyway. Doddsy/Carlaw to have a run for Wynnum from what I understand.

McGuire had the best stats of the Broncos front row last Friday with 116 mtrs from 13 hitups and 26 tackles. Not far behind was Scott Anderson with 107 mtrs out of 13 hitups and 24 tackles. No missed tackles or errors from either player.
Not fantastic, but definitely good stats for a front rower!

6. Josh McCrone
7. Matt Orford
8. Tom Learoyd-Lahrs

I'd be weary of Furner's mind games. Orford could be out and Sam Williams could come in as well as Dugan, who is a realistic chance.

Mmm Kemp hasn't survived getting through a half in Q cup without being injured in the past so it will be interesting to see how it goes. Kenny has been named on the bench for Central and Lui at lock for Norths.

That was certainly the case last season, hopefully he has better luck with injuries this season and performs well for Wynnum.

Tonight. We've got to beat the Raiders at their own game. Why try to weather the onslaught? When we can produce one of our own. If we do, the raiders will never get to play their own game cause we stole it from them. So we get physical, play a uptempo game. We will win this one is the mindset we've missed in previous games and we should have it for this game.
