It is his best game since 2017. Lets hope he puts it together again sooner than another 18 months
I thought he played great against the Dragons last year in the game we thrashed them in. Played a couple good games around that pre Origin period about this good from memory.

saw this on twitter. game notes written on Fish's wrist wrap. thought I'd share

That’s great. I think it reads:

- LEAD
- AGGRESSION
- RUN HARD
- TALK - D - A (presumably meaning talk in defence and attack)
- TRANSITION (presumably transitioning between attack and defence)
- HUNT (might be another character at the end? Perhaps 4?)

I watched the West’s Tigers game against Warriors and I thought they were very impressive. They will be very tough to beat.

Once we got our noses in front in this game we were entitled to put the game to bed on go on with the job. Coach Ivan Clearly alluded to as much as in his post game press conference. We weren't able to do what we should have done and that remains a major concern. Defence may win matches but you still have to score points, create opportunies and be able to put your opponents away. It is only early but our attacking structures remain an achilles heel and have been for quite a few seasons. I can't help but feel we are just lacking that x factor somewhere, whether it is out of dummy half, in the halves, additional strike power out wide I can't quite put my finger on it but even thou it's early in 2019 we are still missing something and I don't say that to be negative.

Anyone catch the Dally M points awarded for this one?
Maloney 3
RCG 2
Ponga 1

No way Ponga was third best on ground. Fish was better than him and so where a few other players from both sides.
The judge Corey Parker is either a had few too many head knocks or is biased.

‘Name’ players are always going to get points from ‘experts’! Besides Ponga can do no wrong, just ask Fox & Nine!

Yeah Ponga had a mixed game at best. His pass for their first try was pretty special but he was at 6s and 7s for the JFH try. Jimmy played him like a fiddle.

He will be a long-term 6 I think. Will eventually displace Munster at 6 for Australia. Best talent I've seen in the NRL since Benji in his prime.

I'm going to suggest that the Hunt4 would be to remind him of who he is marking. Probably was one of the halves.
