can we all just agree on how f**king annoying it was when fox kept switching to that dragons family?
They leave the camera hot, and accidentally go to it during the Souths V Bris game, and see the parents drunk as lords and arguing the fook out of each other about the game. :)

Im not too upset about the intercept, maloney did that often, and you can stomach one in a game, but it was the chase, and defence after that drinks break that was hard to watch

Again though early in the season. Hot and a young bench. Getting wins is the main thing now

I do have to say Whares efforts on Frizell was pretty good, both him and Nathan had Tyson wrapped up, im a big fan Whare, and don't care that he isnt a "strike centre" (the new buzz word, for a RLs equivalent of RUs breakaway position=Overrated)
But defensively sound today, if he isnt there today, i dont think we win

Would you have said it was annoying if it was Panthers crowdless home game and they showed a family of Panthers fans? :p

And on another note. I'm also baffled why they took the 2 at the end there. To me it seemed even Cleary snr was calling for it.
To kill time. Still, worked out for us in the end. :)

The momentum shift was simply the Dufty intercept try. We score there its 18-0. I agree we did some dumb stuff in the back part of that first half but still at a loss to work out how we were behind at half time.

Intercept
Poor read by To’o
Mansour error

3 errors that led to tries. A few poorly timed errors with that

I think him and Mansour have been much improved this year. Still slow but aren’t liabilites like they were

Hope so. He is an unknown entity who isn't quite used to our style of playing. But going by his past clips, he seems the type to add some starch to our back line.

He was close to Origin last year. He either starts and Tetevano off the bench or the other way. Either one allows Martin and Leota to have less time til they find form

Not sure why Leotas getting heat. Api passed one into his shoulder & he gave away a stupid penalty which is par for the course when your a Panthers forward. Otherwise made tough metres when he was on despite the swing in momentum & he was essentially a lone soldier in the middle with JFH out on his feet for 20 minutes at the end of his stint.

Not his best game by any stretch nor is he gonna be leading the footy IQ test but by far the pick of the bench forwards imo.

Pushing poo pass from mansour,
we cant force passes like that its counterproductive, especially near our own line,
On Whare tho, why did he pass when he crossed the line??? He already had the try, another pushed effort
Tetevano was strong tonight tho, was happy with his efforts in comparison vs his old cocks

I agree I thought Moses did exactly what you need from your bench front rower (penalty late in the tackle count aside).

He made a good tackle... and was not even present to miss a bunch too.

He bombed a try which would have cemented us a huge lead. Hes over try line and passes rather than grounding it.

His tackle on Frizzell was bssically his highlight of the match. He was carved up by an average centre all game.

That said... we were terrible and got the win still. Not impressive. But its another 2 points early on. Possibly better long term to suck and win the way we did as we know we need to fix shit. A confortable win might have hid our flaws

Whare not present due to being in the attacking line, so the intercept is acceptable to me, the other defensive plays on Frizell thoughout the match was great, but yeah that shoulda been grounded over the line

Mansour gained 200m. Didn’t drop any kicks another try assist. Another near try

I will give him the pass due to injury last week

Nah no way, he got a try assist by doing that same poo pushing pass, he was just lucky kikau got the ball, if he didn't that's another possible intercept
