We have a young team, his leadership is invaluable
He’s in the papers talking about how much we miss RCG s leadership.

Honestly 2 points is 2 points but we were just blown off the park by a shit side for most of that game. We were handed a victory we did not deserve at all. A top 8 side would’ve properly flogged us.
That game exposed how just deep the issues at penrith are. We didn’t even look like we are trying.
You can’t just disregard the previous tweet that says point blank that when we followed the game plan ‘harder’ we won. It’s a witch hunt.
To say Our first try after the break, which was clearly a set play with our formation set up, somehow proves that we played off the cuff is ridiculous. We ran that play 5 times yesterday & 5 times the week before.
BTW Souths did the exact same thing last night. Bang average for 70 mins & then got the win.
It makes zero sense, 70 minutes in and we decide to start using the game plan? Why did It take 70 minutes? We just copped 50 last week and the coach still can’t get them to play the way he wants?? Maybe they spent to much time bringing a brand new fb up to speed.
If we were in Souths position right now I wouldn’t be complaining. We are a long way off them though.
That try you were referring too was nothing out of hooks game plan mate I’ve been watching it every week for two and a half seasons now. I daresay Maloney cooked that up himself with the players. Just because it was planned doesn’t mean it was hooks plan.
If theirs any structure or flair then Hook didn't come up with itI agree but how do we tell the difference between a Hook plan and not?
Flat pushing up over the advantage line straight away with not much space and zero depth between the edge forward and the centre outside them. IE Waqa and Whare can almost always reach out and touch their backrowers when we are attacking. Hook would rather see us putting it through the hands with short quick passes as opposed to long cutout balls like the one thrown to Waqa.I agree but how do we tell the difference between a Hook plan and not?

That is the structure we’ve been running for 3 years now and it still is ineffective.
I give up.
Bad execution = hooks game plan.
Correct execution = Maloney’s, ciraldos, Gus’, Kit mans game plan.

This is exactly why I was asking questions.
You should give up... no one is saying it was anyones game plan at the end. It was the players using their natural talent and playing what was infront of them.I give up.

Gus even tweeted the same thing. He later posted the one saying they attacked the game plan harder. But that looks more like trying to be politically correct and not bagging the coach. Certainly not giving him any credit for it.

Due to the order of the tweets I thought he was trying to cover himself.
