Good to see Rochow in again, but was hoping Costigan had a longer rest.

The break might do Jimmy some good. What injury has he sustained?

Was sure he was pretty much the only decent prop off contract this year. Have been wrong before.

I think it might be just you. He finds it more than nearly everyone. I think he found turf with long kicks more than any other half last season.

Mullen's long kicking game is the main reason we weren't camped in our half last match.

I think his long kicking is talked up because it is excellent, but that's only my opinion. His short kicking however.....

His kick for Gagais try was superb. Maybe he needs to kick long with his left boot and short with his right :-k

Ian if you had to guess, how many kiwi women would you say you gave a night to remember to during your trip?

Both our halves tried switch kicking that match.... with vastly different results!

Was a bit strange, surely just a coincidence.

I hope Mullen learnt something from the fact a rushed, off-balance, wobbly kick with the wrong foot led to an easy try.

He always looks so robotic and almost consigned to stuffing up when he drills those left foot end-over-enders either dead, into a wall of people, or bouncing perfectly into the arms of the defenders.

He just needs to focus on picking his spot and rolling them in there as dodgily as possible - if it was good enough for Alfy, it's good enough for anyone. In fact same deal with his bombs, I'd love to see him just belt them and get them swirling rather than kicking them so neatly.

McLennan on NRL website: "We've had a good look at them and have come up with a game plan we think will suit best against them."

I'm predicting about 25-30 offloads against us and them to attack us straight up the middle in a similar way Souths dismantled us - the key to the game could rest on how well we wrap the ball up and scramble when the inevitable second phase does come.

This would be a massive win for us, because on paper and in style they should have us covered.

Ok boys, today is the day!

The way I see it, today is a must win. It is also probably our toughest remaining fixture IMO. We are out gunned and out classed across the pitch, so we are about to learn what fight our group has in them and what game plans we can execute.

Our season is on the line.... We might not be able to beat them, but i really want to see us playing like a team who can't afford to lose.

I am looking forward to this one.
