Someone who can pass left to right needs to play the 7. It’s not Luai’s best position, but the position we need him to play right now. It will be good for his development long term.

This is true. Some of his short kicks he is nailing now 6 months ago he wasn't

I have to give Cleary credit he has created a culture that has players thriving and wanting to achieve.Perfect example is Scott sorrenson he has turned into a bargain buy and getting better and better with more game time.Capewell is another came to us as a player with potential who had not stood out.But in our club he has done That
At full strength we will win the lot players will move on new ones come .The systems in place will keeps at the top for a long time

Defence is good enough to cover the difference. Which has been my point all along which a few people took the wrong way
It happens online. Ciraldo is doing a great job to the point his name is mentioned by other club's fans now. Last night defence won the game in the end with some very good desperation and effort.

This is true. Yep look at the tries they scored. Soft miss between 2 props.
Rookie winger/centre combo out of place.
Simple 1 on 1 miss.

It happens but generally the line did well. Will get even better as guys return. Goes for attack to. May's 3 errors were all attacking the line. Burton at centre gets better passes to him. So even if Cleary needs to phone it in for a couple of weeks. Still will look better

Ciraldo is very under rated

We are a bunch of thugs according to the MRC. 3 charged from yesterday, Api 1 week, Capes 1 week, Martin monetary.
Doent seem any roosters were charged.

Burns is a back rower with no chance of cracking this side.Blacker due to covid has played little to no footy .he is a good prospect in a position we can struggle in
Burns wouldn't be getting much time here. That's for sure.

Blacker looked massively off the pace in reserve grade. Granted I didnt see all his games. But the few I did he was poor disciplined. Slow and not at all suited to the NRL and how fast it is.

Would love to be proven wrong by him. But I can't see him being suited to the way the game is changing. Maybe an epic off-season could fix that.

Geez the momo defenders are very sensitive, can’t mention him dropping a ball with out them spitting the dummy. Staines missed that tackle straight up no one is trying to put it on mom but if you think an unforced error at the other end with the roosters going backwards is not worth mentioning you have rocks in your head.

Sensitive? Nah. Just pointing you mentioned his error (which was clearly more on Edwards) to deflect the heat from your main man who missed a stock standard one on one tackle 5 minutes later.

FWIW I'd still have Staines in the side, I have been critical of him but I still think he's going to be a good quality first grader. I just find the constant need by the same 3 or 4 posters to find a scapegoat player every year a bit predictable and boring, yet the same 3 or 4 will die at the stake for one of the golden juniors coming through regardless of either players respective performances.

Good comment Murray, I have been very critical of Cleary at times. I still think it isn't a good decision to have coach and son in the same team but in spite of its obvious issues, he appears to be making it work. His ability to get people like Tago, Hopgood and May to debut so confidently is a huge tick for the development process at the Panthers. Winning junior titles is one thing, developing first graders is a completely different proposition and one that the Panthers have struggled to master over the years in spite of the huge junior pool.

If a player comes from the Roosters or the Storm (I would have said the same about the Broncos when Bennett was coach, but now I'm not sure) development system, you know they will be a good player who will train hard and be competitive. They breed it into their players and it's why they have been so competitive for so long. Maybe not yet, but if this continues in a few years time the Panthers will be viewed the same.

And soon it will be time to hand him over to replace BA.

Solid Win, I'll never complain about that.

I really liked Taylan Mays Debut, he can definitely stay there until Bizza is right and then he can pressure Staines.

Taylan and Tago really excite me.

It meant top 3 is all but guaranteed. Had you lost then Rooster would be closing in and you'd need to get wins.
Now it is a case of keeping everyone fit and letting Nathan rest longer. Play Souths in first week of Finals.
