Round 21 vs Bulldogs

It looks like Kingston might warm the bench and play a bit of backrow.

I've always liked the idea of having a tackling machine or two in the forwards. We are way too soft up the middle.

I feel he could prove very useful for us in the weeks ahead.
Is this a joke ?

Most the games we lost this year was because we had Seg and Kingston on the field at the same time as each other. We got f**king steamrolled up the middle. He is way to small to play in the backrow. Id rather we bring in Nathan Smith before f**king Kingston.

Nathan's too small. Now I'm not the coach and I don't suppose you are either. It looks like the bloke who is has him in mind in view of our current injury situation. I tend to agree with him. Unfortunately you don't.

Seems a few people seriously dislike Kingston as a player, almost in the Franze mould.

Panthers 36 (Humble 3 Blake 2 K Naiqama W Naiqama 4/4 Humble 2/2) def Manly 0

And with that win,and Penrith do have a bye in the last 4 games of the comp which means that the Panthers have just about wrapped up the minor premiership.

It really is wrapped up now, no "just about" about it. We don't even need to turn up for the last 4 weeks (one of them is a bye anyway), seeing that the Cutters lost today.

With 5 rounds to go we need to get our side set for the semis. Get Anderson in for Kite, BMM in for Cartwright and Robinson in for Taylor. Let's hope Kite retires and lets either Anderson or RCG step into his spot and see if they've got what it takes. There aren't too many quality props on the market, and like most others I don't want to see Packer thrown a lifeline.Deport him and move on.

If Kite has a torn pec that's the same injury that put Peach out for the season (and he's 10 years older) so it seems highly unlikely he'll play again this year. If he can get back I'm sure the coach will use him given his vast experience.

Be nice to see Blake get a go in firsts just to see if he can handle it. Killing it in every game I've seen this year.

Rather than toss him in at the business end of the season, I think first thing next season would be the best time.

The Frog. We do need defence to cover Taylor but Brown/Yeo can do that job. Docker, Brown, Yeo, Plum all have nothing in the way of footwork or offload. So it will be enough doing one out etc without adding another. We need to atleast trouble the opposition defence

Blake is an enormous talent no doubt but still a work in progress and has some work to do in defense before making his debut in 2015. His try on the weekend was something to see all power and pace. Blake and Jennings (Robert) are our future centre combination, not sure where that leaves our current centres particularly Whare who is a specialist in the position. Idris will no doubt be playing in our back row next season.
