There's a few options luckily given our great depth. It really depends if Ivan wants to go for broke which he normally doesn't. Compare these two teams we could possibly run with into the finals. One could really cause some damage with a slight possibility we'd fall in a heap and barely make the finals. The other would most likely grind us to 4th/5th and we'd be competitive and go out week 2.

Moylan, Mansour, Whare, Blake, Simmons, Smith, Soward, Mckendry, Segeyaro, Anderson, Manu, Brown, Docker/Yeo, Robinson, BMM, Latimore, Idris

Moylan, Mansour, Idris, Whare, Simmons, Smith, Soward, Mckendry, Segeyaro, Plum, Brown, Yeo, Docker, Manu, Kingston, Latimore, Grant/Anderson

I'd be running with:

1. Moylan
2. Mansour
3. Blake
4. Whare
5. Simmons
6. Smith
7. Soward (c)
8. Manu
9. Segeyaro
10. Latimore
11. Idris
12. Yeo
13. Docker

14. Brown
15. Grant
16. Plum
17. BMM / Robinson

If Grant is no chance, just put BMM in his place and Robinson gets the #17 jersey.

Blake would be a gamble, but he looks a genuine superstar in the making and now's not the time to be playing it safe. With the injuries we have, we need to go all out IMO. Unless Cleary is happy scraping into the finals and being knocked out week 1 or in back to back losses. Kingston in the second row is about as effective as Purtell was.

Silly Billy.

Not the smartest comment.

Kingston deserves more respect for his performances for our club.

Saying playing Kingston is worse than starting with a 3 man bench is pretty disrespectful though.

He'll still get through work in defense taking a load off the other forwards giving them a spell. Of course that's better than a 3 man bench, how is this even being debated?

I apologize, I thought this was a league forum, not a sewing circle.

That 1-17 in first grade isn't too bad. Hoping Cleary sticks with it.

Glad to see us stacking the Under 20's team aswell. I had hoped we would go all out in first grade and under 20's at the expense of reserve grade. Still got a solid line-up, but we can afford the losses if our depleted side isn't good enough. The other teams can't afford to give up any points.

Happy with all of that. Also good to see the NYC team getting stacked because we can. If Barrett can't get that team to the finals he's a lost cause.
Hard to tell what Clearly is planning. Probably isn't sure what its going to look like himself. Hopefully that 17 (or Anderson in for Grant) runs out.

I think the club is trying to get us in the finals for all three grades. Stacke NYC with some real talent. NSW cup minor premiership is ours and a couple more wins in 1st and we should be top 4.

A good year for us with plenty of talent comming thru to keep us there into the future.

If the Club Championship was still a thing we'd be 4 lengths ahead with the post in sight. Obviously first grade is the priority but obviously a sign of a healthy club (plus the Ball and Matts finals). 6 points clear of the Eels.

I'd rather Anderson tbh.

I would give him a week needs a game somewhere 1st. I can't see why Grant won't perform after playing in some average Panther teams. He has the chance to go out in a finals series rather then NSW Cup.

If not Anderson in for next week.

For whatever reasons Grant hasnt really been putting in for a while now, he looks like an average NSW cup prop when ive seen him and I dont think he can just flip a switch and start performing really well cause he is suddenly back in the frame for firsts. Hopefully he goes well if he plays, but im expecting what we saw earlier in the year which was just ok.

In that case Anderson in next week. I just think given the jump from NSW Cup to NRL you can't miss 2 weeks then jump a grade with only a handful of game behind you
