Happy enough with that first grade team, hopefully Robinson is let loose to offload, I wouldn't care if he drops the ball five times as long as it's while trying something, with his recent form he's the best chance of points down our left. Big push in the 20s it seems, dunno if it's worth it.

All props need is the body type, fitness and heart. So if Grant is going to give 100% then he's still the best prop at club. The question is will he put in for Ivan?

Hey Team,
I'm wondering what we think the actual 17 will be on game day.
Firstly, as a die hard panthers supporter, and secondly as a supercoach player that is looking for some FWD's that may go large and have good security.

If Kingston plays lock for 80 minutes he would be a very handy acquisition - I just can't help but think either him or Grant will drpp out of the team when they run out.

I can't imagine why Grants attitude would be so bad. I know it looked like the club was trying to offload him (due to his high salary) but then changed their mind so maybe he felt unwanted.

He's still the best prop we have. I'd be amazed if neither Cleary or Gus sat down and told him, hey we're doing great this year and we really think you could help earlier in the season. Sure he won't be here next year but at some point you've got to stop building and go for it. And given the strength of the comp this year and how well we'd been going prior to the injuries and that he fills the weakest spot we have (debatable) to me it's a no brainer.

Re: Grant - we don't know the behind the scenes.

If the working relationship between Grant and Cleary has broken to a point then it is no use playing him. We don't need anyone (or issue) destabilizing the team.

Different topic - I think we should try and get Cartwright back to the club in a coaching capacity, any thoughts??

I agree. I know why Grant was on the outer but I don't know how it got to the stage of Ronnie Palmer telling him he was dropped over a coach. Lets hope that talk has gone on and he wants to go out playing the footy we know he can

That's why I would give Anderson a run in NSW Cup this week to use him next week if Grant doesn't work out.

Without being harsh as Cartwright is a legend of the club but can he coach? Like he didn't even bring any juniors through to say he'd be a good Ball coach

I was thinking more along the lines of a forward coach. He could do some great work with Bryce.

I just can't see how two reasonable intelligent men have let it go this far.

On Carty, yes ,that was my first thought, but I think he's staying at the Titans in some other role.

Yeah he is staying on at the titans in some corporate role or something. Sounds like they cut a deal to payout some of his remaining contract or something if he fell on his sword.

Bryce has a broken fibula + ruptured deltoid and syndesmosis, he is out for the season obviously.

Deltoid is a shoulder isnt it? I just copied it from his instagram. Looks like a good break, not quite all the way through.
