I think we'll win this. The Roosters have a good side on paper and they certainly demolished the depleted Broncos last week (clearly no great shakes these days), but apart from that they have wilted every time against decent sides when the heat has been applied. Surely in our position, at our ground, we won't be complacent.

A win here will set us up well, with the Knights to follow. A loss and we're in big trouble. It's a must win really.

I think we can beat the Chooks. I am more nervous about the Knights the following week given what happened in 2005.

He didn't play with any confidence. Made too many errors and pretty average kicking game. Not bad, but definitely not good.

Check out the idiots on facebook who wanted him straight back in and though a few months out did nothing to hurt his fitness or confidence.

Needs 4 weeks minimum imo

I didn't see the game given I was playing golf (badly).

Definitely agree he needs time back in NSW Cup before being elevated to the top grade.

Can't help feeling the balance of our side is all wrong and has been for some time know. The loss of both starting centres Whare & Hiku has really hurt us, while not a great Hiku fan, we have been forced into makeship centres for almost the entire season.

I am not confident at all about Monday night. Too many players out and unbalanced bench. Would be much better having four forwards off the bench and having Yeo as cover for the backs in case an outside back gets injured. Hardaker either starts or doesn't make the 17.

I think it is time for Bryce to stand up. He is no longer a rookie with almost 50 NRL games under his belt. This season for all the good things he does he undoes with missed tackles leading to tries. Yes still young, growing and developing but we need him to stand up and be counted in last five games to get us into the playoffs.

Fortunately for us, there's no Andrew Johns in their side. They won 8 from 11 after he returned from his broken jaw and still got the spoon, and we were the first of them.

If we loose this week we can kiss the finals goodbye. Titans, Tigers and the warriors are getting better every week, I'm not sure if we look any better than we did game one of the season. One thing that is disappointing is we don't look like getting much time in with whatever halfs pairing we are going to use next year, so we will be effectively starting from scratch. Hopefully it all clicks against the chooks and we start our unlikely charge to the grand final.

Bryce has been fed to the wolves ,how many back rowers in the NRL do you think could play at 5/8 not many If any at all. Iam sure he wants out of there more than anyone else

I'm not going to hold Bryces lack of potency with the ball against him when he's playing 5/8. He's not a half and he can only play where the coach tells him to. My problem with him is his defence. It's been garbage since he debuted and it's not getting any better. For a man of his size/strength it's not good enough.
