Moses couldnt tackle at tigers. In 4 weeks the eels fixed it or atleast inproved it. His form has transformed the eel.

Two guys had to keep was teddy and Moses.
Knights are signing some good players. Tigers are putting a band aid on.

Anymore of a word as to whether Moylan is likely to play? Unless his hamstring is 100% right hopefully we rest him again this game.

I put the entire blame on Jason Taylor tbh. Our team has improved immensely in the space of 4 months under IC, a job I don't think many coaches would have been capable of

lol @ Knights signing good players. A washed up rep player (Guerra), 600k on Ponga after playing 2 nrl games, 500k on Watson (utility bench player)

Going great guns.

Tedesco was always going to the roosters. Massive fan of minichello and easts fan growing up....Moses is a spoilt little bitch who cried cause we didn't think he was important

There's reports Woods wants to stay at the tigers now.

There is certainly a lot more resolve and heart defensively than we had earlier in the year, we scramble well now but we still miss tackles more than we should. 31 against the doggies. We also seem to not be as quick to get around the legs of players standing in tackles, this may be because earlier in the year we weren't wrapping the ball up well and conceded a lot of late offloads and now are focusing too much on that. Overall they have definitely improved defensively, I'm happy with that for sure.

I think we score so many late tries because it takes us 50 minutes to calm down and start playing patiently.

Not surprised we missed 31 tackles. We struggle against teams that offload and stand in tackles gnerally our line is much better this year

We've conceded almost exactly the same amount of points per game as last year:

2016: 19.29 ppg
2017: 19.19 ppg

Yep because it has taken us all year to get back to where we were last season, that's what happens when you make changes to basically everything. We literally were changing our edge defensive combinations every week for the first part of this season, the centres and wingers were switching, the halves were switched sides and throw the injury issues we had with JFH. We need as much continuity as possible to build as a young side, that's why moving Waqa and Peachey around multiple times was a terrible decision, it certainly hasn't improved our centre pairing, it didn't make us more dangerous with the ball and it didn't make us a better defensive side so why did we do it? Honestly we worked all off season and came out a much worse side in both offense and defence there is no getting around that when considering whether Griffin is up to it or not. He had everything his way and we got worse.

We have improved from earlier in the year imo, we can actually defend on our line for multiple sets sometimes.

110% it was way more risk than reward and we got none of the reward in the end.

But Whare was a gun back in 2014... he should be first centre picked for the rest of his career.

We literally f**ked around both centres to accomodate Whare into the team. Blake shifted to the left. Peachey dropped to the bench. Peachey on the bench is such a waste of talent. He can create something from anywhere on the field at any time. Whare can't do that anymore.

We seem an ok defensive team. On one hand the defensive line may be better than the ppg stat suggests because it feels like we often turn into morons when the opposition kicks. But I can't be bothered looking it up to see if we concede more than our fair share from kicks.

On the other hand we've played a lot of our football against crap attacks. The Titans opened us up with some slick passing pretty easily. There's potential for the good attacks to embarrass us if that was a truer indication of our line.

The Souths game was an outlier, we fell apart.

Waqa spent plenty of time on the wing also. We should of just let Whare go its a pain in the ass trying to fit him in, you cant play him on the wing cause his kick returns aren't up to it so he covers centre and that's it. I know most wont agree but id rather we kept Hiku, he offers more with the ball and can play wing, centre and Fb at a pinch.

Meh, I & alot of others would still have Whare in the team. Its personal preference.

"personal preference" meaning there is no real counter argument. That's fine I can accept that, just don't tell me he offers more or is a better centre because that's just not true anymore.
