Yep Jenkins is the guy I meant, looks like a good player to me at centre or wing. Got size and speed abd can certainly find the try line. Also a friend of a friend of my family so I’ve heard he’s a very nice young man which is always good.
He‘s not unlike a young Mark Gasnier in looks, size, physique, movement he on appearances has everything going for him. Work in progress and sadly he is not playing any football so who knows how that May play out against him.

Gould’s summer comp would help him.

Thomas in another from the Central West production line. I think I read he was upgraded to a development contract earlier this season. He has a great physique, very athletic, talented but I’m not quite sure on him. Maybe, maybe not he has never quite convinced me he has NRL written all over him But that doesn’t mean much.

I am pretty sure he has a fg contract for next year. He’s definitely from a country town I can’t remember which one right now but he’s a country boy.

I saw a headline around that, but didn’t read what was said.

Anything the brightest mind in the game says about the game may be worth exploring.

Gould has his detractors, but whether you love him or hate him, he loves the game we all have to give him that at least.

(I haven’t read what he is suggesting around a summer comp)

Will make a difference from Rhyno giving hot dogs away in the toilets
For a troll who has not been able to post for over two months, he sure gets some hits. I'm sure he's lurking in his little batcave, with his Eels bedsheets and his imaginary harem nearby, just gloating because we're still thinking of him.

He’s from Boorowa down south. Development next year and fg 2023
I thought for some reason he was a central west boy, but Boorowa. My wife and I were actually going to travel down thru there in our next trip to visit our son in Melbourne, just to visit places we hadn’t been too before. Given our current predicament we have no plans to go anywhere in the next six to twelve months. No point planning anything right now.

Yeah he is full time next year. Hopefully the summer comp happens so he can rip in next year

We can only hope by next season we are somehow accepting of the fact we have to live with Covid.

It us with us now for the foreseeable future, if not ever.

I am not smart enough to know the way out of this whole mess, but if it is vaccinations and vaccine passports then I am all for it.

We cannot continue done this whole Covid elimination path. it just isn’t going to happen.

Ultimately Staines needs a couple of kg (not too much) and a good run at fullback. The best backline long term would potentially have both Staines and May in it. After watching guys like Egan, Blake and more I'm not overly confident. It's always the players I like.

May is a centre normally. So no reason both can't be in the side. It is just a shame no NSW Cup for Staines to find some form

Jenkins is the one you think ends up in the vacant centre position long term. Plays Fullback and both sides that sort of versatility will see him moved around early on though

That's my biggest concern overall. If Staines could drop back and play fullback for a while that'd be perfect. I've only seen May play on the wing in reserves.

My gripe with Staines is he only has the one move. He always takes on the winger on the outside often he would be better passing it back inside. Burton's 1st try last week is a move he could do given he can pass.
