Gus Gould has been quoted many times in saying sometimes young kids need a rest from first grade when they come up so fast.He May need a battery recharge .There is no doubting his talent and he will be back

Staines has had a tough few weeks id say its just form. Taylan had a great debut so its nice to see that rewarded with another game, he also provided great metres last week and with our two best go forward guys out(Fish and Bizza) May will help there more than staines.

May will definitely give more metres running at a set defence. Though it's executing the attack that's been needed more than anything since they've been getting field position every week.

Yeah no doubt we need to be better there, a lot of that is the new combinations and our main half being out I think. Its just been constant changes since origin.

It has been the case all season. The spine has played 5 games together all year. That is good signs for when they do get together

I think this has been lost on just about everyone. We have lost 3 games all year with a disrupted spine and huge State of Origin impact.

We are building form here. Its the right way to go.

We were not primed for the semis last year. Barely got through Easts and Souths and were blown away in the first half of the GF.

I think Ivan is timing our run much better (lessons learnt)

No doubt it has an effect.

In terms of SOO we were the most affected club but we have been very fortunate with injuries. I saw a post a week or two back from NRL physio page on FB. We have been about the 3rd or 4th least affected teams injury wise.

Other sides have certainly had it a lot worse than us.

Hopefully we can get our best 17 on the paddock when it counts. All the origin experience will be a huge plus this year come finals
