There was an option for a half. We tried to low ball him and now he'l be playing in the halves for someone else. Now it looks like we might be stuck with sub par options in 2 of 4 spine positions.
Lol, wondered when we'd get our first Hayne regret post of the evening...

So you'd like to lose Semi, Edwards, Ma'u, French etc. just for Hayne?

There is a bigger picture and it is very easy for us to sit here and take pot shots at the coach when he makes a decision we don't like cause we think we know more than him.

You think we'd lose all of them? I'd happily let Semi go. He doesn't want to be here and will be highly paid on the wing.

Did we make manly play bad last week?

So can we say Broncos are still shit as we were shit tonight ?
No we didn't make manly play bad last week.
The Broncos obviously weren't shit as that is my point. Manly were and didn't take advantage of the dumb things we did so we looked better. Brisbane weren't shit and when we did dumb shit they made us play. Hey but if you were content with tonight's performance live it up. I'll continue to death ride although I think you need to learn the definition of death riding

Definitely not happy with tonight performances. It was bloody poor, shit house.

But there are plenty of excuses for it.

Nope. I agree with him. Those blokes aren't first graders and it will be an absolute joke if any of them are in the side next year.

Mate, we're only playing the cards we been dealt. Every player was poor tonight. It's probably the most disappointing the eels have been all year. But when your forwards struggle, the entire team will struggle.

Does anyone else on here except Pou reckon Watmough had a larger onfield contribution that Beau Scott? Our middle defence is non-existent without him. That alone places him well above Choc.
Our middle defence was pretty poor without Watmough as well.

That's what losers do find excuses. I certainly didn't expect a win but there is no excuses for some of the plays that were attempted tonight back up players or not.

I can see why Robson and De Gois are playing this year (even though it's painful to watch) but there is no reason why they should be in the team next year.

Quite possibly. You think BA is lying?

We have different opinions, that's cool but I'm with BA and right now with all the shit that's happened this year I'm happy to go with what he says.

No one said we were a chance of losing any of those blokes if Foran stuck around on $1.2 million under the salary cap for the next 3 years.

Why would we suddenly have been a chance of losing them if we lose Foran but pay The Plane exactly what he was on?

Mannah only had 24 tackles and 9 runs for 76 metres. Was he captain tonight? That's Junior Paulo type involvement in defence. And no impact with the ball

I don't think they will be, just my opinion though.

Robson will retire and IDG might be signed but I don't think he'll be anything more than a backup.
