Nah he didn’t. Played to his limitations and played the percentages, which is what we need.

I legitimately think we looked more dangerous on that edge tonight then we have all year.

Was a very clear tactic to clog the middle to stop murray and cook.

It worked. They didnt do much..but it allowed cody space and time.

Nath only fixes that if he overides dads tactics.

The issues werent a lack of confidence in salmon tonight. We just lacked numbers due to clogging the middle..

Nath is a better lateral defender than salmon so he gives a bit of time but the tactics against the bunnies need adjusting..

Need a better balance of mananging the middle and the edge. Tonight we stopped the middle perfectly but got owned out wide

I thought we got caught out on the edges mainly because both our halves tonight are slow, resulting in the outside guys shooting in to try & compensate. Very different when we have Cleary & Luai that can both cover quickly when required.

Good win for the club and some more silverware for the display cabinet!

We don’t have one. It’s why Ivan has had salmon on the bench all year and since salmon has been starting he has carried an outside back. No idea what the whinging about Staines is about he was only ever going to play if there was an injury or if we got pumped they’d would’ve pulled dyl of for an early night.

Ivan will not go into a game with a hooker and three forwards on the bench unless one can shift to the centres just get used to it, we did not look like we needed another forward tonight anyway, Chris smith on the bench just eats into other players minutes.

People are just discussing the game and the selections like every single fanbase for any team in any sport in any country does, and then you come wading in here trying to make it personal for some reason and cause petty arguments. Like, if you had just posted this, great! This is what discussing sport is about....

We just wrapped up the minor prem with two weeks to go missing both halves the last 3 weeks and a couple other injuries and suspensions thrown in there and people are bagging the coach, fmd what does it take to please some of you.

Salmon has played in every single game in a team that wrapped up the MP with 2 games to spare, in a year when ‘everyone is coming for you’ as last years premiers.

He deserves planets of respect.

Great effort by everyone, SPECIAL thanks to IC and the coaching staff. OUR BEST ever period in the clubs history . Many of us Kilkenny etc were fans in the 60s and 70s when we were a rabble
