Waiting for Robbo to come out saying how unjust it all is, but he won't complain and just get on with it! The poor bloke. Surely the MRC and judiciary can't keep letting Roosters off?

Don’t get your hopes up too much, I’m glad we couldn’t get a hooker though, basically guarantees at least one of the young halves will be picked. If he really must pick Norman please at least be at 7 and he can take on an organising Hornby type role, because he has zero to offer in attack.

I will be happy to see him go too, I just really want to see the Sullivan/Amone pairing get a few weeks of free reign without worrying about being dropped to see what they can do before a good off season to work on the flaws that come up, build up the bodies and push for spots next season. If we don't get another decent hooker next season and Macca goes down early there is every chance that we could see a Sullivan/Amone/Hunt/Sloan spine which if the young guys can throw on a few kegs should be quite nice. I can see a Moses/Hunt/Macca/Bird spine though which is about as threatening a feather duster in attack.

Fascinating reading some of the comments on here.

For perspective. We took a squad of 28 to the QLD bubble. Of those 28, 12 had to serve the BBQ suspensions, on top of that we've had players suspended from games, 2 that had issues with signing the NRL doc (and rightly so, if legal advice was given), 5 players who will not be wirh the club next year, and now 4 players with season ending injuries. Oh, and you may throw in a prop who seems to not want to be there and another who hasn't fired a shot.

Some talk about the importance of combinations, yet we haven't been able to field the same team almost all season.

Now, we come to team list tuesday v Roosters. By my calculations we have 23, possibly only 22 available players for this game. So basically all bar 1 or 2 won't be named.

Who plays hooker? My guess is that will be Maguire. I doubt Clune could sustain 80 mins at hooker especially against the Roosters.

In any case, this is what we have to choosr from:

Backs 8 - Bird, JP, Mat F, Dufty, Rava, Lomax, Sloan, Beale
Hooker 0
