I guess Mau in the centres comes down to whether BA wanted Toutai in the 17 instead of Terepo, Gower or Alvaro?
I'd want those three in above Toutai every time.
Well I was actually correct - the charge was only 75 points for an early plea but they have chosen to take the guilty plea and cop the 100 points which means he will not carry over 25 points into the future.
Gives an idea what they think of us if they were happy for him to miss it.
Grade 2 Afro strain... It's healing - it won't happen overnight but it will happen
He has played some good games this year but he is too hot and cold. Plus he has dicks for hands.I just don't see the fascination with Terepo, tbh.
I wouldn't say Arthur has lost me with his constant selection of Terepo, but Terepo doesn't seem like an Arthur-style of player (lazy marker defence, sloppy handling, etc)..
I agree. I dont think pritchard playing a running forward role instead of resting IDG has helped us at all. Kaysa gives it his all but it just seems wrong n pointlessI don't see his fascination with both hooker's on at the same time. idg gets really sloppy as he tires.
x3, I don't understand it either. I didn't like it when Peats and IDG were on the field at the same time either. We continually get owned up the guts and it makes it even harder with two little blokes on the field at the same time.I agree. True, he's not high on my list either.I just don't see the fascination with Terepo, tbh.

Pritchard is dangerous off the back of a quick play-the-ball. And good line speed isn't something to thumb one's nose at.x4. In fact I don't get the point of Kaysa. ATM it's like sending on an angry kid from S G Ball. Props for effort but what impact does he really have ? Line speed is about it.
True, he's not high on my list either.
But Arthur does pick him - and elevate him to starting sude when we have two backrowers out.
My point was only that he's probably a better inclusion in the 17 than Toutai, especially against an in form pack. Kind of like the adage of picking your best 17 available then finding positions for them?

As for Terepo, he is quick and powerful, and actually does work pretty hard in defence. Doesn't miss many tackles either.
Respectfully, sir, I disagree - he has a tendency to "clock off" around the ruck and let his mates pick up the slack.
I can't doubt his hard running and his front-on defence, but with his poor handling and sometimes lazy marker defence, I am puzzled.
And his runs seem to make little imoact; he runs hard and fast, but barely gets through the advantage line.
I don't want to lay the boot into the guy, but I am asking a genuine question - I don't see the appeal.
I would think injuries to the likes of Tanginoa and Ualesi have cemented his selection. That and the loss of Watmough at the start of the year.
Tanginoa and Ualesi were only on one year contracts, and almost certainly not in the top 25. Terepo re-signed on a multi-year contract and given how much first grade he plays (and how early in the season) would have to be top 25. I think he's a pretty good defender. His tackles per minute are high and missed tackles are low. That seems like a very Brad Arthur attribute for a forward.I would think injuries to the likes of Tanginoa and Ualesi have cemented his selection.
