I wasn't whinging - I was asking a legitimate question.

Peni has a lot of potential, but I just don't see what he adds at this moment.

But like you said, he's probably in the 17 at the moment due to injuries.

I just find it peculiar that Arthur seems to think so highly of him, when he doesn't seem like an Arthur style of player.

I don't think Terepo has much potential at all. He is unlikely to get much better - maybe his handling will continue to improve.

I also don't think he walks in to our top 17, but he is probably our number one backup player in the middle. And I do think he's an Arthur type player in defence. As for his attack, he seems to spend most of his minutes making decoy runs.

I think he's willing to make good contact in defence, but his marker work and line speed can be found wanting sometines.

I like how he runs the ball so hard, and he's very quick and mobile, but he makes little impact.

I wonder if he'd be better served running a little wider?

A small change of direction just before the line would do Penis Torpedo wonders. Learning to touch the inside shoulder should be his priority.

Thehard, straight running looks great but you're just setting yourself up to be put on your arse.

But genuine first graders would cost more than we're paying Terepo. Probably a lot more, and they would require us to involve them more in our gameplan in order to get our money's worth.

Obviously 'involvement' is a zero sum equation. There are limited minutes in a game, and only so many touches and runs to distribute amongst your attackers.

The fact Terepo has only missed one game (round 4) suggests that he is no longer considered a fringe first grader and the almost 10 hit ups and 23 tackles per game is sufficient involvement to warrant an increase in expenditure to upgrade the position.
