I gave us no hope, with the list of outs we had, but it was another one we could've feasibly won, especially if the Walker try was properly disallowed. Oh well. We missed Lomax as expected, but the forwards coped ok without JDB and Molo. The Couchmen played great defensively, Lawrie stood up again and Hunt was pretty ok

yeh.. but that goes for any losing player at a press conference. They are all about the same, no one wants to be there.
People are being harsh on Hunt re PC's because of what he has done in recent times and he deserves mud for that... but seriously
Reed Mahoney takes the cake. Ricky shot all his players. No captain turned up to theirs.
Hunt has been like that for years and we certainly dont need the same attitude on the field, he checked out months ago, he doesnt want to be there, he didnt get what he wanted, worst thing is he is captain of the team.

Was just having a look at the player stats from yesterday's game and wanted to mention both Toby and Ryan Couchman were our only players with 100% tackle efficiency. Ryan Couchman in 51 mins played made 35 tackles for 0 misses and Toby in 32 mins made 22 tackles for 0 misses. Great effort from two 19 year olds. Players we will need to hold close, they're exactly what we need. Hard workers who will never let you down, and their impact is only going to get better.
Flannagan must be happy he has these kids coming through…local juniors who will form the nucleus of our pack over the coming decade and help to develop a formidable impenetrable defense which is essential to go back to the top within 5 years. I hope.

Spot on Jeffdragon. The other week when Wighton threw that forward pass against the Tigers, they did a computer generated path of the ball, showing it going forward. So this week they can’t do the same with a line from when the ball contacts the foot and where Latrell and Cody Walker were at the time. It’s just bullsh*t.

Just saw the Annesley explanation. He said the touchie was in-line and best placed. Those drongos can't see 1 foot in front of them with all the blatent forward passes they miss each week. How in the hell are they checking that all players are onside at the point of the kick? No effing journalist had the brains or balls to ask that question. Secondly, the vision he showed from in front still shows Latrell was offside.

How's this suggestion for holding Officials (refs, bunker / video review, linesmen etc) accountable? Where there's a major fk up call (like the Gutho strip / no try) - game result is annulled and 1 competition point is given to each side. Just imagine the screaming and gnashing of teeth - and the obsessive compliance with the rules - and the anxiety amongst officials to get it right. Oh, and piss the bunker off completely and let the ref make his own video review of his calls.

If they did actually implement this suggestion the Dragons would be the first team pinged and eventually be the first team to have a grand final win stripped off them because of it. They get us either way.

I need to see someone quick, paranoia on overload…

He does the press conferences with no one there of substance. Protects himself from the hard questions. Yes linesman are frightened or told dont look at offisides anymore thats the refs job?. How can the bunker see other things without a microscope like who touched the ball first whether a hand raked the ball or not but cant judge if in front of a kicker. Bunker has ruled on those things before. It is all BS
