What's the story with Ben Hunt? Is he still concussed or are his symptoms a perfectly natural reaction in trying to interpret McGregors instructions? Will supercoach display his tactical genius and do one of his last minute switcheroos?

I’m convinced that if Mary is with us next year, Ben Hunt won’t be. Have heard Hunt does not want to be with us if Mary stays as coach. I can understand that. The story goes that Hunt’s ‘week off’ was the culmination of a MacGregor versus Hunt spat that has not gone away. If true Johnston may well not be able to avoid making a tough decision for once.

Have faith and remember that both water and McGregor coached teams will find their natural level. In this case, 15th on the ladder.

Think of the psychology of a Dragon's player. This week key players are rallying around their coach and they probably believe that McGregor is the one to lead the Dragons to a better season next year. They will go into tomorrow's game with energy and a strong will to win.

Unfortunately, lurking in their subconsciousness, the Dragons players know that McGregor has passed the blame to them on numerous occasions and they have been hitting their heads against a brick wall for years with no change in results. All they got to show for it is a "Spent Schlong" pattern on the charts. There is a chance that things will go well for the Dragons from the start of the game but once they start getting tired, once Benji puts that first try on them, those thoughts and resentments that have been building up in the subconscious will start manifesting themselves on the playing field. Tigers by 8.

P.S. If Sharks lose tomorrow then expect Tigers to be well motivated to secure a spot in the 8. Sharks lose then Tigers by 12.

For those wondering regarding Ben Hunt, yes he suffered a concussion but his father has also been recently involved in a major car accident, and his wife has had some family issues of her own, so he has justifiably been allowed some time to deal with it all.

So, I painfully listened through the "coaches" preview.
1 thing was of great interest to me:

This appears to be Widdops last game with us, which really wouldn't surprise. Why stick around to pkayvyour last game away against the team running last in front of a crowd of no more than a man and his dog. McGregor made it an extra point that Lats had 2 games left of his career. Such a switched on coach seeing he was dropped out of the team yesterday.
