You don't understand - once Burns plays another 20 games, then the jury is out again, and you can't be sure of anything.

So to summarize:

Great reserve grade form: doesn't matter
Great first 2-5 game form: future star, obviously
Great first full season form: steady on, can't conclude anything yet. Better sign a journeyman plodder.
