Yes it has been said here multiple times.

What are you talking about? You are saying that there are literally people who think he hasn't scored the tries and got the assists he has, so you need to be here stroking your chin everytime he does something against a desperately poor Knights side? I don't get it.

Everyone knows Cleary is a good runner and a good defender and good at bombs. It's his overall game management that is the issue given that he is the undisputed leader of the spine next season. Getting all passive aggressive when he runs through the wet tissue paper that is Ponga's last line of defense doesn't change the underlying argument that is being had, no matter how much you try to mischaracterize it.

The team looks like they are having fun today. Throwing it around a bit and running hard.
Luai doesn’t look to out of place in the centres, Cleary looking good and RCG really putting in.

Do people need anymore evidence that Cleary is a runner not a passer?

Run first halves should be second receivers.

A run first 7 is fine. Andrew Johns Haas said heaps of tines that should be the mentality. His passing can go off the back of it. As long as it works is all I care.

I think you need to calm down. Yes there are people. How about Franklin saying our spine next year is defensive and won't be worth many points? Daz and others saying our right centres won't get any ball yet Whare is getting it out there on cut out passes. Try assists and vision? How about that kick for Edwards.

Always puts in

No argument there, from literally anyone.

When has he ever not given 100%?

Sorry looks like I've attacked his effort.

Not my intention, he always puts in. In fact he is one of the better effort players in the NRL.

Unfortunately the result of this game means absolutely squat. Maybe it will pad his stats a little which will make for some fun in the off-season when people quote his 2019 stats.

But a run first 7 means our outside backs will rarely touch it. The best of both worlds is him playing 5/8 with a passer who can get the ball to our wings at 7.

Paul Gallen kicked a field goal today, so if he wasn't retiring, perhaps the Sharks should make him their go-to field goal kicker seeing as he can obviously do it? I mean, you seem to have a big problem with understanding that Cleary not doing something enough or well enough is not the same thing as him never doing it. I mean, this is literally the final game of a shitty season against a disinterested Knights outfit. How much does this one game override all of the other evidence to date?

Or a coach who can teach them how to attack properly. Luai/Burton have good vision and passing. So use them effectively.
