I don't think people care. We can't make the finals and we are playing a team who just sacked their coach. I've got my 50th anniversary jersey on today and will watch the game because I'm a tragic but it's pretty pointless.
Same here mate.

Washed the cars, done the lawn. Grab some lunch with the daughter and watch the end of the 2019 season in my jersey. Tragic but pretty sure I’ll laugh more this game.

Wonder if Jimmy will give a f**k today? Its really hard to pick if his ego or money will win out, finish in Australia on a classy win or preserve his body for the Super League?

I don’t think he’s really cared since he signed that contract. At least that’s the way he’s been playing.

James Maloney.

Good signing, potentially great signing but we never got our shit together while he was here. In 2018 he was close to the best player in the competition (early/mid 2018). Looked like we were heading to the grand final. Injuries completely ruined him and the way he was managed during the rep season was highly questionable.

This year has been a 5/10. Some match winning performances but not when we needed them e.g. the last fortnight. Definitely a power struggle this year with Nathan Cleary as well which has been to the detriment of the team's attack. One or the other had to lead the team. The captaincy mess was probably closely related to this issue.

2 seasons of missed opportunities for this club, and James Maloney sits on the throne.

Overall memory: positive, could/should have been better.

Maloney’s deal with Catalan’s was done as far back as April it just wasn’t made public until a couple of weeks ago.

Also singlehandedly lost us the Sharkies final last year. We will be much better off without him

Yes he had a shocker in that one. Just like Origin 3 this year.

I'm not so certain about our future. Missed tackles, errors and penalties should go down (Should...).

But try and line break assists? Massive question mark. Nathan Cleary hasn't shown he is capable of matching him in those categories. I'm confident in golden point or field/penalty goal scenarios but that's it.

Tedesco, Cook and Graham covered for Cleary in Origin. We have Edwards, Korisau and Kikau. It's gotta be a team effort in 2020.

Agreed.

Soward has the edge for us due to this. I think his 2014 season edges out Jimmys 2018 season.

Just a shame we only got one good season out of both.

I have to agree as well. Soward wins the bigger moments.

One difference though: Soward had Moylan. A match winner of equal if not better quality.

So not a one man band like the Maloney show I think.

No RCG did that the error off the kickoff at 16-12 or his other front row partner that had 1 hit up...

Gotta love those people in fantasy land that think one player solves all

I have never been less excited about a Panthers game, but here I am waiting for it to start because it's the last game of the season. At least it's a playoff for 10 and 11, rather than 15 and 16 the last time our coach was here, so congratulations Ivan, I guess.
