Huge call by Mary. Looks as though Duges has clocked off. It's up to him now, we will see what he is made of. I'm hoping it won't be the last we see him in the Red V.

What a performance from the team never gave up. Sims beat two of the quickest players to the line and for once, we closed out a game.

We will be to good for the Dogs and Packer will be back for the finals.

Widdop was tops in defence, I dunno why some of you were hard on him.

It's McGroan who is a f**kup.

I have been critical of Widdop, but he stood u today.
He was guilty of allowing McCrone to kick too much in the first half, but back end of the game he really controlled things and his defence was outstanding.

Yeeeeew! Simms,Vaughan,Widdop and Dufty- great games. Still alive but we were very wobbly. Nene had another shocker. We were up against it and held on but will take it for sure

Totally agree, they were the best 4. But honestly, Simms was head and shoulders above them all.

Mary did the right thing dumping Dugan. But I still think he should have left Mann at half and played either Leilua or Milne in the centres. Also, Nene was bad, horrible and nearly cost us the game. He's not the greatest player to begin with, but there was something wrong with him and I don't think he should have played either.

Anyway, a wins a win and it was a gutsy one at that. Man of the match Simms, brilliant so determined and just sheer power and passion. Dufty had a very, very good game too, they put him under a lot of pressure with some big kicks with the strong breeze and the chasers gave him nothing. He's a good young player - Dufty.

There's something wrong with Frizzell, weather it's the flu or an injury, they seem happy to use up the interchanges and get 10-15 minutes at a time out of him.

It does beg the question though, if your carrying one of your forwards, why not play a four forward bench, it's not like KFFL got any game time.

Dugan will play next week Im sure,irrespective of his poor behaviour.... we need Mann at half thats for sure.....McCrone just doesnt cut it .....and we seriously need to find someone to replace McDonald otherwise the Morris boys will have a field.day ......most wont agree but I would put Milne in his place, he couldnt do any worse surely.......if McGregor is serious he must look at McInness game ....Im the first to say he does a mountain of tackling but his positional play to day was abysmal at times...I think thats because hes buggered with all the defence hes asked to do....hopefully young Dufty will go well again next week and put the question to the Dogs defense ........thought the refereeing was quite good today, which is a change........anyway it was pleasing to get the 2 today bring on next week

From my experiences if its his ankle then cant see what coming on and off every 15 would do to benefit his injury....on the contrary I would have thought it would have an adverse affect.....still then again Im not the coach (pity that lol)
