Round 25 vs Panthers

It can only change, if the Dragons are SOLD off to a company or individuals with the best interest for the St George Illawarra Dragons at heart.
Only then will we see change at all levels.
No individual could possibly put up with the levels of incompetence that these so called leaders of club have shown over many years now...

Yeah, it's worked well for the Warriors

The peanut has trotted out this line a few times this week:

"It should be really exciting for the players now," McGregor said.

Does this mean super coach hasn't been able to achieve this level of 'excitement' until now... when it's all on the line.

The writing was on the wall 3 months ago.. unfortunately the poor bugger is out of his depth... and we are the ones left drowning in frustration, disbelief and missed opportunities.

I know the players will give it all this week.. and I do think they will get home, but how the hell we got to this point is astounding.

To rub salt into the wound he does it with that smug grin like
'F U, it doesn't really matter because I still get paid for my 2 years regardless of seeing out my contract or not'.

Will be interesting to see how we play. We've failed to deliver at crunch times this season and I'll spew (more than usual) if we've don't aim up this week.

Equation is simple: MUST win next 2. Where that gets us for season 2017 sadly relies upon other results.

100% correct and yet some in here still saying it is all in our own hands.
Obviously playing with themselves.

As I see it, we win both games and we are in. Not reliant on others games at all. So according to the old dude, I must be playing with myself.

I think the comment about other games was referring to where in the 8 we finish. Maybe you were playing with yourself while typing your post old timer.

The only result that keeps us out if we win both games is a Manly - Panthers draw.

First mistake actually taking notice of Old Timer.

Illawarra have been woeful.

Hopefully its the end of Head at the club but i doubt it.

Head should be sacked now. If not he should be at the very least dropped back to coach the U20's state league next year.
I like what Collins has done with the U20's squad this year. He's at least tried to nurse the youngsters through and they sit 4th on the ladder. Yeah these been a few questioned selections but I feel its more protection rather than stuffing up. He has also done his apprenticeship at another club and I think he'd add a lot to the new NSW Cup comp next year.

So according to you if we win both games we are definitely in and then you say that if Manly and Penrith play a we aren't in
My definition of it's in our own hands means that if we win 2 games we make it regardless of all other results but that is obviously not the case is it?
We are in fact reliant on a particular result not occurring for us to progress.
Maybe you and coast have been holding each other?

I will be surprised if Illawarra is even in the NSW Cup or whatever its going to be called next year.

If the Dragons want to be serious and i have doubts they do this feeder club system has to go.

Host didn't play today for Illawarra but Leilua did.

You know Leilua won't play so McCrone or KFFL will be on the bench or KFFL in for McDonald or McCrone to 7 and Mann to wing.

Either way Mary has shown he is so f**king stupid.
