I half expect Dufty to miss out with Duges to 1 and Taane in the centres.

I really hope not as we need points, but Dufty's on line defence might scare Mary mother of Dragons into playing safe.

If the players infront of Dufty can't make tackles then he will be in for a long day.

Dugan should count his lucky stars he is even picked he was pathetic against the Bronco's.

Playing it safe that sure as hell hasn't worked ie McCrone and putting in Milne who has been utter rubbish would show Mary for the fraud he is.

Not saying I would agree or do the same.

Dugan has been rubbish but in my opinion he stops Oates scoring last week and likely Milford scoring too. For his flaws, his goal line defence is second to none.

In the rain I'd opt for Duges at the back. It should be clear on Sunday though and we need 30 points+ to be in this.

Crush its simple Mary has failed yet again with his continued bad tactics, bad selections and just alround bad attitude.

Regardless of what the players say and they trundle out the same crap week after week they have failed to deliver and in all honesty don't deserve to make the finals.

Widdop and Dugan are just two of the serial offenders who have let the team down. Its the most experienced players who have continually made the most basic errors and half the time they don't seem to care.

The attitude of the place stinks and i have no idea how that will change.

Yet, Widdo is near the leaders on the Dally M board (so he must be doing something right).

Dugan has only played poorly once this season; I can't remember his last bad performance.

Methinks you're being unjustifiably harsh.

Id be far more critical of MacDonald, Packer (when fit), and McInnes (although his diminishing form isn't entirely his fault).

You can't remember last weeks game?? Unless that's the game you're referring to.

Widdop has his flashes of brilliance but I think coast remembers that he seems to go missing when we need him to step up or close games out. Im a fan of Widdop but the best players will ensure we win more of those close games and hopefully with Hunt coming next year that will help us close out games.

Packer started strong for the first 6 rounds, signed with tigers and that's that. I think mccinness is playing his first full FG season (where he regularly plays) so the drop off is somewhat to be expected.

I think for the Dragons to win, they need Dufty in the team. Dufty hasn't done anything to warrant being dropped.....but who knows with McGregor.

If Widdop, Mann and McInnes are all fit and not carrying injuries, I would drop McCrone from the bench and pick Leilua in the 17. They need another forward with some creativity on the bench.

They must play with clear minds and take calculated risks, not try to score off each play every set.

Important to avoid early errors and to defend well.

If the guys in the front line do their job in the defensive line, Dufty's defence will not be regularly tested.

Dufty's attacking skills will be needed to outscore Penrith.

We must maintain possession and complete our sets thats the first step. Starve Penrith of the ball and they will start to become frustrated.
I dont think wr need to target anyone just play our game, look for Thommo and Friz to hit the line and then spread out wide.
Finally defend hard and rattle them with the ball like Ray Warren says sometimes making ground without the ball driving them back in tackles will upset their style of play IMO

Sounds like a good game plan every week...you should send an email to McGregor.

It's not McInnes' fault at all, he can't be expected to impersonate Mitch Rein....

Shutdown Cleary and we go a long way to winning this. He needs to be targeted every time he touches the ball. Finally we can't let the Panthers have a free run as they will slide and go sideways all day to find a gap. They have some speed out in the edges..
