Why? Blaize hasn’t had much of an off season, limited exposure to our structures. Reserve grade is fine for him at the moment, if his talent shines and he demands a first grade spot even better.

Sucks for this week but if Milky is fit and firing and Blaize isn’t it’s an obvious choice.

Its tough to get up for every match. Especially for a team that has experienced our kind of highs.

5 straight grand finals into Vegas. Then they go up against a NSW cup squad. Even worse they know the week after they play the 2024 grand finalists in Melbourne.

They were absolutely crap against the Roosters but motivating these guys each week must be getting really tough. Cracks appeared last season for sure. 2020-2024 I'd say 2024 was in last place for overall performance across the year. Not sure that changes in 2025 all that matters is we win it in the big games (E.g. Tomorrow).

I don't think its that crazy if Blaize doesn't fill in at fullback. He hasn't been signed to be a 3rd string 1. He's working towards nailing the vacant 6 spot. A week in cup in that position is probably better for both him and the club.

If Blaize is the best available fullback then he should be playing.

This hesitance to use him coupled with the consistent rumers that Parramatta want him back lead me to think that maybe there is a serious flaw in his game that wasnt known when we signed him??? He is an experienced first grader with numerous tries (some individual efforts). We need to start using him or cut our losses and move on.
