Round 3 vs. Dragons

Yep. All true, and sad at the same time.
Our forwards got rolled by a hungrier pack. Our team got outplayed by a better team on the night.

In the frustration of watching us continually shooting ourselves in the arse, I noticed a couple of things.
1 . . the dragons have developed a technique of flopping on the tackled player without getting penalised for it. Must have happened 25 odd times last night and went un-noticed from the refs.
2 . . At last we lose the "refs darlings" tag. That was another thing that saints won fair and square last night.
3 . . . the saints players fell into the habit of hugging and celebrating tries. Therefore, they must be pricks.
4 . . . Soward has got as good kicking game. While he was never tested last night, he can also kick goals. Won't someone please tell him how much of a tool he looks like when he screws up his face and clip-clops about as he is lining up the shot ?
5 . . We REALLY miss Ellis and Galloway.

Lol at number 3. The bloke that posted about us celebrating like dicks after tries looks like a right wanker now. Spoke to keithy today he reckons 4 weeks and he is back. Lote reckons he will be good to go in another 2 weeks. Soward is a androtop.

i'm a DRAGONS FAN, and u are 100% spot on............we had a roll-on for 80% of he game and our defence was solid. Big issues with your lack of forwards size and impact.

The Tigers forwards need to learn how to get away with belting players around the head.

Agree 100%. Watched a large number of games this year and the number of un-penalised high shots is very large.

Also have to get the third man into every tackle to do a flop. it slows down the play the ball very effectively. Sheens should watch videos of Melbourne and Manly to getr this tactic right.

Excuses,excuses!
Please, just accept the fact that the Tigers were hammered and are soft up the middle.
Thats all there is to say and you should feel lucky you even got points on the board with those two dubious tries.

Did u bother reading previous posts or is this premeditated.

Most posters agree and have posted that our forwards were too soft, Moltzen is shit, that the Dragons were too good, we got belted and from this post forward we will all agree that your a tosser, if u want to come on here and troll in the hope of stirring emotions and getting a Stream of reactions, at least do so when the loss is fresh, not 2 days later.

The refs are terrible. They always have been.

However, it goes both ways. We won our first game largely due to a poor ref decision.

We didn't turn up on Friday. You can't blame the refs. Bad decisions went both ways.

Hybrid Tiger I agree the refs are not up to standard but they match the current sub standard of football being played. The dragons/tigers game on friday night was difficult to swallow but I had to turn the roosters/raiders game off for the second half. The tigers were pre season favourites and it is hard to imagine the dramatic fall (reality) and if it had not been for a very fortunate decision we would have been last. Refs cannot be blamed for everything, I know it is only round 3 but the difference between the top teams and us is alarming and we appear to be going backwards in all areas. Disorganised, lack of committment, no thought kicks together with finger tackling is positively not a recipe for success. What in the hell did they do in the off season? - play cards! The forward pack still crumbles and we have a serious problem at halfback - can someone down there please inform coach sheens of the predicaments or head him in the direction of OPSM, f##ken pronto before the season evaporates and we have wasted another golden opportunity. This is ellis' last year and he warrants an appropriate send off!

Completely agree mate. People say we will come good and that might be true but I for one am sick of starting the season on the back foot. Enough is enough. This was the year we were supposed to be consistent from the opening whistle, yet it's clear it's much more of just the same old shit.

Why can other sides perform consistently yet we never can?

Why don't we have a consistently good kicking game?

Why are our forwards regularly dominated?

Why do we strike no fear into any side in the forwards?

Why do we talk about the same problems each and every year yet absolutely nothing is done about them?

Ah Matchball....You f*cking dopey bastard.

Soward can't tackle hey, did you watch the game? How many tackles did he miss?

How good was Moltzen! And your young props, they were awesome - i mean groat was brilliant, bet you Gibbs and Fafita were having a laugh!

Blair was good too! All he wanted to do was punch on with anyone who came close - well worth the $550K! Hope he enjoys his spell on the sideline for a while.

And what about Robbie - how good was he on Friday night! He was so good, that Danny Buderus just jumped him in the line for the NSW number 9 jumper!

And of course Beau "knows f*ck all" Ryan. Keep rubbing your head idiot.

Have to agree mate.
I dont usually like to make predictions but before rnd1 this season i had a bad feeling about how 2012 was going to go and told a lot of freinds not to have high hopes as we wont make the 8 this year.
I then thought perhaps think of the positives such as
1-6-7-9 were all specialised in their positions which hasnt been the case for some years ,plus the inclusion of Blair and the return of Lote should see us set the world on fire right from the start. THEN after the Cronulla game is when reality hit me and that bad feeling came back again because of the following.

#No great fullback after the lose of Tedesco.

#Lote didnt actualy come back on time fresh with out any injury fears so when he does i think he will still have no confidence and under perform.

# losing 2 key senior forwards in 1 hit is never going to be good

# We some how made the semi's twice in a row and BLEW both our chances, That has to zap a sides confidence as wether they can get there again.

# We have been ranked as favourites to win.. hmmm we never like that tag

# Injuries.. f**king injuries... then comes Sheen's chance to play lets create new positions for players .. i see the " Lets play weaken position A to try him in position B " rearing its ugly head once again.

# Still picking OBVIOUS clowns in the side ( ex Utai )

# No Koebete :(

# And finally i can see shades of 2006-2007 etc where due to selections, injuries and just plan old players failing i can not see us settling on a permanent side that can develope combinations to allow us some consistancy to string enough wins together to make the semi,s. I can see 5 people having a go at each 7 and 1 etc during the year :x ... you know the results !! we have seen it all before.

Anyway we do have some classy players so perhaps we can turn it all around rather quickly and my latest post here will all look like a load of shit and you can all take the piss out of me lol .. im hoping thats the case.

I thought Moltzen was great for the Dragons.

Totally agree. Alas WT surrendered any opportunity to bring fresh blood and ideas into the place when they renewed Sheens contract till end of 2014.

As to attitude etc, I have commented before that everyone at WT seems too relaxed and comfortable- no hunger and mongrel to get the prize. This permeates all levels, the players, the coaching staff and the executive and board.

as soon as we were labelled competition favourites was when the rot set in.

These players actually believed it after having done nothing to prove that they deserved the tag.
