Yeah he was showing signs last week, and was full blown horrible today. A shame, I thought he might be a positive after the couple of rounds.

Fitzgibbon is such a non-event of a player. The kind of guy your own teams fans don't know the name of.

It really is the closest you'll ever see to a NSW cup team playing in the NRL. I don't think we'd compete that well in the ESL, even.

I would have to say that this is harder to watch than an outright flogging. We were on top before half time only to literally throw the game away in the blink of an eye. That's terribly hard to watch as a fan.

Pretty much. While Warriors were trash first half, we did cop some laughable penalties against us and had a fairly good completion rate. It was nothing special but we weren't ass either. The second half was complete trash. Warriors came out firing and that was enough for us to get roasted.

f**king Randell, another bloke I can't tolerate. These players just have very little quality about their game. Their hitups and tackles are soft. Their speed isn't real. Their passes are shithouse. It's just low quality everything.

He's borderline talentless, he just tries really hard.

I'm still shaking my head that he's in our leadship group. Absolutely stinks of Gidley's captaincy. You elevate a nuffy to a leadership position and then it's awkward to get rid of them. Levi is so obviously a more talented player than Randell (although has his own faults for sure)... I just don't see why you'd want one of your leaders playing from the bench or NSW cup.

Got some real bullshit piggy back penalties against us. Loads of shit defensive efforts but they were on the back of 2-3 sets of defence in a row. Absolutely nothing went our way for 30 minutes.

Shit day really. First half was nice.

Who cares? I don't think our back row is necessarily the worst of our concerns. Our backline is abysmal... we need Aku and Sione back in there.

Our 2 -> 5 gave away 4 penalties and 7 errors today. that's 11 extra sets to the opposition between those 4. Total mess. If Aku was as bad as Pat Mat, Mamo or Ross were today, people's eyeballs would be melting with hate right now.

He wont fix anything, so it doesn't really matter.

Tariq would have fit in today with dropped balls and penalties. Not to mention some of his defensive efforts last year.

I was hoping that Brown would fix the Knights defensively this year. The same old problem, not enough aggression, spped in the defensive line. Too many arm tackles- watch them they come up grab the attacker around the shoulders and are then carried a extra 5-7 metres down field- so you giving away 25 metres every set of six that allowing better last tackle options for the opposition. Why are they giving this ground away every set of six? It gets worst when they allow the player with the ball to run across and not touch them- Johnson today (Uate a master of not laying a finger on everyone with the ball)
If you watch the latest trend in defence you will see a player flying out of the defencive line putting pressure on the ball carrier (Brisbane does it really well with Gillet racing back 10 metres to be onside than sprinting out of the line to pressure the oppositions play maker - what the rest of the Brissbane players do is only go back 8 metres - the ref see that the one who's flying out of the line is onside, so doesn't worry about the rest who are coming up a metre or two behind him.
My last comment- how many times do you see the knights defence force the opposition ball carrier to drop the ball. NOT MANY TIMES
Brown please fix the defence.

That second half. If we had more then 30% ball I'd be surprised. There wasn't a lot they could do stop that.bthey aren't at Brisbane level defense. We know that. Shake it off. Go again next week.

Our handling in this was absolutely diabolical.

Some of it comes down to failing to make the intercept, but many more were just bone-headed passes or poor ball security.

The game changed when Mullen grubbered in goal. We had Kata secured in but he gets out. That was the 36th minute. Game went tits up from there. Get a repeat set and may have been a different story.
