Thanks for your thoughts. I honestly think we played against our strengths. A few calls here and there but overall I think both teams walk away disappointed.

I do think this team can go on a real run once it finds the balance.The problem is time. My theories always been by rnd 17 that leaves 10 games. And 14 dusted. You want to be around 50% win rate. Thats has 14 points plus 4 from the bye. 18 points.
A team in form will win 7 of there last 10 games. And on 32 points you will be anywhere between 4-6th. A team on a roll can win from this position.
So penrith need to win 6 of the next 10 games!!

I would have to think that Moylan - Segs - Whare are worth 8-10 points a game. Keep some faith in the team. Missing your two best spine players.

As much as sowards attack is better then wallace - Soward just can not tackle. He is becoming the Sandow of Parra. In general to many players who slip off tackles.

Bryce will be out for 3 months with a dislocated thumb no doubt. We got carved up through the middle this game and I swear Sowie killed 2 or 3 chances with bad decisions. We need Will Smith out and if Waqa plays like that again he had to go as well.

Can't believe it. We could be 4/4 but instead we just can't hold on and now find ourselves 1/4. I really thought that Brisbane game would have been a massive confidence booster which would kick start our season. Even if Moylan plays Dragons defence was great, so was ours. Really thought after holding them out early we could really win that one. DWZ and Mansour had great games. Agree I do not understand what so ever why Soward was such a hog. Cartwright had an awful game for the time he was on, his offloads are really hit and miss. But, to MISS 50 TACKLES... Moylan can not help that much. We cannot make the 8 with such poor tackling, we are putting ourselves under way too much pressure. Definitely not confident for next week, even with Moylan likely back. We have now lost 3 really tight games which have gone down to the wire and I wonder how much this has taken out of us. I'm expecting Parra to win next week by 16 or so. Our attack needs to improve big time and here's to hoping Moylan can assist that.

Soward looked a bit gassed and fatigue - he just took on too much work load - Martin didn't even kick the ball once.
Might as well played ET there instead.
Can't blame soward for missing the tackle on dugan, he took on too much.
Let Martin do something otherwise play a second rower in the halves in place of him.

Hiku should have been fullback and yeo at centre.
Will Smith will always be targeted at fullback - no kicks went to Mansour or DWZ

We are the new Canberra Raiders I can't wait to look back on this season and think of all the games and points we could have got. Oh well.

Penrith are renowned for playing dumb, casual football. If we want to EVER be taken seriously as a club we cannot be hanging hope on one or two players returning to change our fortune. We need to start playing like a professional football team and stop making excuses.

We have sucked for years. We keep fluking our way into contention. If I hear the "it's round 4" argument I'll flip. Look at our last 6 years, nothing but mediocrity and hanging onto the belief we can make an impact. Proven first graders win games, not possible potential.

Well, 4 of the last 6 years that has been the case. Mind you, we were 1 and 3 in 2003 as well and with a much worse for and against than we have now.
