Judging by the players we're going after, I'd say the latter but we'll see. Going after them is one thing, actually signing them is another.
Last year was the first time since 2015 that we'd had any wiggle room in the salary cap and we picked up one of the best outside backs in the sport.

The ignorant know it all's out far too much shit on our recruitment.

@Souths Till I Die or @callmack1 can you please make up the game match threads as I have Rabbit Toes on my ignore and it's a pain for me to view the threads.

I was gonna take him off ignore but then he decided to wanna fire me up today so I can't!

Going on about something I posted in a thread when we all sometimes get occasionally off topic we don't hoe into one another.

I would bro and I understand but tbh, making another thread for the same thing would be annoying for everyone else and it would just get deleted anyway. Sorry mate.

St George have a very well rounded side. This will be a tough game as I rate them as top 4 contenders. Hopefully it’s not a blowout score. Just wanna see the boys play for 80 minutes.
Mate I'm just hoping they have an off game and their mind isn't fully on the job and then that brings us right into it!

It depends on how competitive we are as to if Sam is there. He's our heart and soul and enforcer in the pack. Without him St George will have a feast pushing Murray and Sutto back etc..../limiting our metres!

We really need AR back and getting us some repeat sets!

They completed at 88percent today. We are going to have to hope they come down on that a bit and that we complete at about 80percent. We have to stop the offloads and not give them time! I know rushing up means they can kick behind but you just can't give them time and space as they're deadly!

The silly penalties at times we have to limit too!

I'd be using GI heaps on that left edge as I feel we can catch Nightingale out. Also have GI and Gagai along with AJ floating around the middle at times looking for inside passes to catch out their forwards!!

Seibs is gonna have to come up with quite a bit and I look forward to what he has planned!!!

Kennar if still out is a massive loss re the shit work as he can match Nene in that regard!

Keep charging at Ben Hunt too. Send heaps of traffic his way to exhaust him.

That's fine but if he behaves we wouldn't have an issue!

He is the one with the problem not me. I have tried many times and I forgive and forget but he doesn't! He holds onto grudges.

He shouldn't be the one making it every single round @Different kind of Rabbit

Can you please make them up mate.

Us Souths supporters shouldn't hold grudges against one another but it seems some do

Tbh bro, I think Rabbit Toes has been quite good in that regard for the most part lately.

I thought you'd both moved on.

Great post and I 100% agree, it will be very tough this game.

If we win I will be so over the moon.

I had but he hadn't. He refuses too. I give people forgiveness and a fair go. That's what I'm about.

Still if trolls come in here and say something bad to me he likes their posts still to try fire me up plus is still nitpicky like today if I slightly got off topic he wanted trouble re that!!

Good luck this Friday bunnies fans.

You've got us on a 5 day turn around, which could take a fair bit of sting out of our pack.

Hope we can still get the job done. But it's definitely an opportunity for your side to hit us when we're vulnerable.

Sounds like excuses already :joy::joy: good luck mate hope it’s a good close game with a low penalty count.

This will definitely be a test for our defensive capabilities, whoever ends up marking MacDonald had better eat their Weetbix this week,he's a big powerful unit at the moment.
If we haven't got Sam for some unjust reason it's really going to hurt us,I would be in Georges head all week telling him now is the time to prove all us doubters wrong.
The half position really has to go back to AR,this will be a match that every point is valuable and with so many penalties being blown at the moment having AR's boot will be a must, just hope he brings his short game with him for repeat sets.
As for Doueihi it's a tough call do we use him as interchange, myself wouldn't.
If we lose Sam we really need another forward on the bench.
Just hope Kennar and Jennings are apples for this match,we need their workload massively also to cover for the possible loss of Sam.
But the key for this match will be containing Widdop and Hunt,I can see Murray up in their faces already we need Crichton to do the same.
Anyway go the Bunnies, we will win this"it is written"!!

Personally I’m not convinced we should let AR walk back in to the side. I think a stint out of the team might be a kick up the arse he needs. If he feels he is still an auto select where is his motivation to get his form back?
Personally I think it’s very unlikely we get anything from this game no matter what so leaving him out to try and motivate him doesn’t really lose us anything.
I tend to agree mate.
I think Reyno is underdone at present.
He had a foot injury and now a knee injury.
He definitely is not match fit.
His timing is not going to be there yet.
And he is going up against an undefeated team who have 4 games under their belt now.
Maybe even I week a the Bears might not be such a bad option for match fitness and timing reasons.

Angus on the Matty Johns show wasn’t real confident AR was 1 game away. He seemed to stumble over the answer with 2 or maybe 1, depends how he trains this week. Tuesday will be interesting. I think they’ll name both AR and Dewy in the 20, but they’ll see how Reno goes during the week. We may not know until game day. Which makes SuperCoach a bitch.

Perhaps if you practiced what you preach here you might have an easier time of it on these forums.

Yea I saw that too. That was a real good episode aye?! Andrew Denton was crack up!

Like you say, they'll both be named but I fully expect Reyno to play.

@callmack1 bit off topic but living in New Zealand, how’s the vibe locally with the warriors on top and flying at the moment?
Well, the media everywhere is always wanking on about how good they are and all the "it's our year" BS has started haha. A lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon and the Warriors are being talked about a lot more.

They are playing well and it may well be their year but it's a long season.

It's tough for me as a lot of my mates are Warriors fans and I can no longer give them shit about it!! Haha.

What's everyone in Aus saying about them?

Great article Callmack!
These players voice articles are all pretty good reading, not the usual tripe you get in an interview.
Just goes to show there's more going on than what we see as fans.
Angus was certainly battling a few injury issues as the season was beginning.
Agreed, they're always good reads.

South Sydney Rabbitohs forward Sam Burgess has pleaded not guilty after being handed a charge of grade one dangerous contact in the Good Friday match at ANZ Stadium.

Updated Monday 2 April, 10.20am

Just before the hour mark, Burgess was placed on report following a tackle involving Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs centre Josh Morris.

Burgess currently has 85 carry over points due to a charge in Round 2 where he accepted the early guilty plea. If Burgess is found to be guilty, he will miss matches against the St George Illawarra Dragons and Sydney Roosters.

More information will follow pending the result of the NRL judiciary hearing.
