Don’t want to derail this thread but I need help. Does the club offer a bus/coach or shuttle down to Canberra for fans? My kids are bugging me about going and I’ve promised them some out of town games this year. I really can’t sleep there the night as I have work Monday I can’t get out of. Need to weigh my options up. Alternatively is anyone driving down?

Im driving down

Intend to park at the convention centre (near the casino). Its a flat rate of $6 on weekends.
Also intend to smash the casino in Caribbean Stud Poker before the game, then walk to the bus exchange platform 101 London Circuit (5-10min walk)

Chartered Buses to GIO stadium start from 4.40pm

RAIDERS v EELS

6.10pm at GIO Stadium

Raiders: 1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 2. Nick Cotric 3. Jarrod Croker (c) 4. Joey Leilua 5. Jordan Rapana 6. Jack Wighton 7. Sam Williams 8. Josh Papalii 9. Josh Hodgson 10. Dunamis Lui 11. John Bateman 12. Elliott Whitehead 13. Ryan Sutton

Interchange: 14. Siliva Havili 15. Hudson Young 16. Sia Soliola 17. Joseph Tapine

Reserves: 18. Royce Hunt 19. Aidan Sezer 20. Bailey Simonsson 21. JJ Collins

Players cut:

Late mail: Ricky Stuart will welcome back Joseph Tapine from a broken thumb and has named the back-rower on the bench, although I expect him to start on the right edge and push John Bateman back to lock with Ryan Sutton dropping to the bench. Aidan Sezer is fit to reclaim his spot in the team but won’t be recalled, with Stuart opting to stick with Sam Williams after the halfback steered the Raiders to consecutive victories.

Eels: 1. Clinton Gutherson (c) 2. Maika Sivo 3. Michael Jennings 4. Brad Takairangi 5. Blake Ferguson 6. Jaeman Salmon 7. Mitch Moses 8. Daniel Alvaro 9. Reed Mahoney 10. Junior Paulo 11. Shaun Lane 12. Marata Niukore 13. Tepai Moeroa

Interchange: 14. Peni Terepo 15. Tim Mannah (c) 16. Kane Evans 17. Oregon Kaufusi

Reserves: 18. David Gower 19. Ray Stone 20. Josh Hoffman 21. Bevan French

Players cut:

Late mail: Parramatta will have one change with Peni Terepo failing to train during the week. David Gower is set to return to the bench after missing the last two games due to concussion. No other late changes expected.

Damn we’ll miss peni’s speed and hit ups. Having said that Gower hasn’t ever played a bad game for us

I would of liked to see Stone over Gower. But Gower does have a nice passing game simmilar to Terepo.

So going back to the start of 2017, we have only managed to pick the same 17 for 2 weeks in a row 5 times in 54 games and 3 weeks in a row 0 times

Chance this late mail is wrong and we still have the same 17 as last week. NRL.COM update had Stone and French dropping off the reserves list with Peni still listed in 14.
