Tago will make a great fist of the backrow.I don’t hate that, if we can’t bring in a decent back row or centre.

He's years off that position. Way too smallTago will make a great fist of the backrow.
I agree, I meant for next year. Sorry. He's years off that position. Way too small
A few years off in my opinion. I like Charlie but he'll be moved on. Unless May keeps doing May type thingsI agree, I meant for next year. Sorry.
Which is wrong.A few years off in my opinion. I like Charlie but he'll be moved on. Unless May keeps doing May type things

Maybe, however, Ivan is a more superior coach than whoever coached Bevan.I'm Staines biggest cheerleader but I can see him having a career similar to Bevan French.
Ivan is soild. He's not something specialMaybe, however, Ivan is a more superior coach than whoever coached Bevan.

I think coaching two different teams to a grand final and winning one, does make him a little bit special. Not many coaches have that resume. He certainly isn't average based on results delivered.Ivan is soild. He's not something special
Over such a long career is about par really.I think coaching two different teams to a grand final and winning one, does make him a little bit special. Not many coaches have that resume. He certainly isn't average based on results delivered.

He has had some seriously plod teams for a lot of his career. He is no Jack Gibson, but I think he is above average. The current crop of coaches set the bar pretty low too.Over such a long career is about par really.
Unless you're in the inner circle, that is pure speculation.Ivan has had to work with a lot of shit squads. He's probably a 6-6.5/10 coach atm.
It couldn't have worked out better but he was only brought back here to keep Nathan.
Haha okUnless you're in the inner circle, that is pure speculation.
Of course it's not. How many coaches have made three grand finals? 53% is only half the story. He coached a Panthers side that was trashed by ME. He coached a Tigers side that was rubbish. He coached the Warriors who were decimated by a salary cap scandal in 2006 and the death of Sonny Fai in 2009. All this context is never discussed and if he hadn't won a premiership then he would be consigned to history's dustbin as average. But he has 3 GF appearances and one win. There are six coaches out of sixteen in the NRL right now, who have won premierships. Average? Nah, by definition that is not average.53% in 15 years of 1st grade is very much par

The old merkin probably would have gotten us over the line in 2020, but I think we are better off long term where we are. The idea of Yeo in a Dolphins jersey makes me want to vomit.Gus had the greatest coach in the sports history lined up....
