Round 5 vs the Raiders

May did a decent job at FB and hooker when covering.

If Burton wasn't so tall and could play hooker then May would lose his spot but no chance otherwise

Why does a hooker need to be short?? Just because they predominantly are I see absolutely no reason why Burton couldn't fill that role.

People on here have ruled him out of playing that position literally JUST because he is tall.

He has a better passing, running and kicking game as tmay and he's defence would be similar.

To say he can't play there because he is to tall is ridiculous.

As soon as he’s not required, Burto can head back to Reggie’s and think about his choices.

May is a much better 14, he’s probably our smartest footballer

Think about his choices? Like accepting a deal to set up his life? Be interested to see if you'd take a job for 200k or knock back 500k.

Is tmay your best mate? Your bias towards most things he does is off the charts. He's a good player but he really hasn't done much of note this year. Solid and can cover positions well but when we are at full strength he is on bloke who could miss out imo.

Regardless to what you have said in the past, he comes on and plays the 3rd half role. If you think he can do that better than Burton that will do me.

Burton can cover every position in the backline better than tmay. And he'd be better at lock and the 2nd row.

Tmay literally is probably better cover at hooker in comparison.

He is a very good player tmay but man you are biased.

I like both and I'm glad we are spoilt for riches but I just can't really see what tmay offers more than Burton in the 14 role.

Ask Luai, money isn’t everything.

I like May because he’s our best option at 14! Do you want me to pick someone else just so I don’t seem bias??

I’d pick Luai and Cleary everyday of the week in our halves, I sing their praises to to anyone who will listen, does that mean that my bias towards them??

I always pick who think is best for the team.

May is extremely footy smart and understands every position in the team, that’s why Ivan put him at FB in the storm game, because he understands the defensive system so well and was able to direct the defence from the back.

He understands all our systems and structures better than Burton and that’s why I’d pick him.

If I had the choice of signing one of them, I’d sign Burton, I think he’s the better halve/centre.

He nailed the centre position, and he is a better half. I would have loved the see Matt play for a lot longer time in the Panthers jersey. Oh well that wont happen.

I agree he’s a better halve/centre, but he’s not a better option at hooker, fb or in the forward pack. He’s got more experience and has played a lot of footy with most of the team.

He’s also in the future plans of the team.

that’s why I think he’s a better option at 14

Hooker, I agree, however, we will not know about FB, and the forward positions, as he hasn't played there. Personally, I think he will nail them.

I hope Critta is contesting this ridiculous charge. He literally placed his arm around the guy's shoulders and grinned. I suppose the club will also be fined for the Penrith crowd inciting riot with the happy clapping..

He put hands on a player who wasn't on the field which is the issue.

To be fair, he had no reason to touch a player standing on the sideline minding his own business, I think he should just say sorry and pay the fine.

It's not like he walked over to the bench and gave them a serve . The celebratory pile on expanded and the guy was standing right next to him, he didn't even move . Did he have a number in his hand? He was just standing there with a face like a slapped arse like the rest of the team. This was after the Raiders spent most of the first half giving him shit. Fight the charge. It's fkn idiotic.

A tall hooker gives slower service as it takes longer to get down and pick the ball up. The split second has players over running passes and flat passes forward

Haha just something you've come up with there Franklin. If a hooker is standing up instead of waiting down low to pick a ball up than they are doing something wrong.
