Once more the winger leaves his flank within the 15 metre area to allow an overlap for the opponent to score. Two definitions of stupidity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results; and not believing in man-made climate change..

So glad the ref didn’t f**k around, the dogs were being so negative in laying all over us slowing the ruck down & continuously offside, the dogs rolled the dice hoping the ref wouldn’t react like that & they lost, there’s only one team trying to play entertaining footy in that regard & it wasn’t them

Yoohooo!!! Good Friday turns into a great Friday!! Fantastic to get the win and fantastic to do in in a dominant manner for the second time in a game this year. Really happy with the result!

We made it a bit hard for ourselves by starting slow but even through that period we still looked solid. From the 25th minute on, things just clicked and we were away. From there it was the best we've played all year. I'll say it again, DOMINANT!! Great to go on with it and put a score on.

Obviously a bit annoying to concede the 16 points but I'm not to worried about that.

Well done lads, what a night!! I'm stoked!

No not for me mate.......Tass is more likely to get that spot, he looks to be very quick.

Did we end up winning the nsw cup?

very convincingly, they played a lot better, looks like the coaching staff put a real rocket up them, they really concentrated on defence, ball retention & played a lot closer to the first grade model
Sharks/ Newtown were coming first
We beat Penrith two weeks ago who were also at the pointy end of the comp & were beaten by saints in between who were coming last, so the potential in this group is as good as any team, we just need consistency

A worrying first half hour on the back of Bulldog enthusiasm; their pin point kicking game (borrowed from Penrith’s GF win) which sustained pressure in their favour; and an organisation from us that lacked purpose.
Marshall-King in the bin changed the game by allowing us to oil the gears. With that opportunity to make the great bulk of our plays more effective, the Bulldogs were finished – as seen by the second half demonstration of what Souths are capable of.
Pleasing to see Knight make consistent imapct off the bench as well as Taaffe learning to go to ground on first contact after taking a high ball. However, 3 bombs allowed to bounce is a worry.
Considering the intercept try loss to Brisbane and the field goal loss to Storm, it’s been a good start to the year when expectations were we’d be a little rusty early in the season with Bennett, Reynolds, Gagai, Su'A, Mago, Marsters being regulars who exited the club – while having Mitchell on suspension.

Taafe is all heart with plenty of energy !

Anyone know the reason for the black armbands ? Cook looked to the heavens when he scored one of his tries…

The dogs actually defended really well in the opening 20 mins. Obviously a lot of doggy fans felt as if they were wronged by the sin bin but it was the right call. 4 6 agains in a row after being warned by the referee. I dont know what else you need to be told before you realise. I just wish Melbourne were monitored like the dogs were.
